My experience at this restaurant was quite different from most of the reviews. I ordered a chicken salad, massaman curry, and a bottle of beer.
The menu photos of the salad showed ingredients in batter, but what I received was boiled chicken. They claimed it was grilled, but in reality, it was just boiled chicken, maybe slightly pan-fried, but without any proper colour. The taste was definitely not what you’d expect with battered chicken, but at least I didn’t get food poisoning—that’s something, I suppose.
They forgot about the massaman curry, but the beer was fine 🙈
The onions were also different from those in the photos—red in the picture but white in my dish. I was told that ingredients may vary, which, honestly, is unacceptable, but who cares, right?
To top it all off, I found a hair in my dish at the very end. No apology, no discount on the bill—not that I was expecting one anyway.
Honestly, for the same price, you could get two really good spicy chicken salads on Phangan. And without hair. I think this place caters to rookie tourists, but to each their own. I won’t be returning.
Thank you, Nui for the answer, but your ladies hide emself on the kitchen and no one offered non change the dish non apologies for the hair nothin, just a friendly reminder they are even forgot second meal. This is not a root, please don’t be ridiculous. I’m not a...
Read moreWe have been back to this place three times during our stay here. Lovely staff and quint little restaurant. We ate here around 6-7:30pm and it there were 2-3 other tables in use. Walking past at 9pm and the place was packed.
The food was very tasty with a good portion size. Good balance of Thai and western food.
This is still a smoking premises and the way the fans are set up means that no matter where you sit if someone starts smoking you get the smell and taste of secondhand cigarette smoke.
And Unfortunately they’ve never had the barracuda steak in so I guess we will have to come back to Koh Samui again to try that one.
Still we have loved our visits here and the children and I enjoyed the...

Residing in the quieter northern Chaweng part of Bophut can mean you have to ride to town or eat in your resort every day. With Pui Relax, going out for local dinner is fun. It is very much like many other thai eateries, but the ladies make it always so much more welcoming and the dishes are all prepared and served fresh. Expect to wait a little longer when the place is busy, but it is definitely worth it. Dishes are quite sizeable and worth every Baht. I myself have been several times - and I...
