What can I say....and where to start with.||Firstly I would like to thank the whole team/staff of Seadance who had put together all the efforts and hospitality and made my holiday a wonderful one with their warm and swift services be it room upkeeping , cleanliness , restaurant , car rentals , helping with places to see around and overall maintaining the resort lovely environment which would make people come over again and again.||Right from reaching Koh Samui airport I had the transport already waiting for me to pick up at 9am.||Though I had reached early Mr Haris who manages everything at the reception made sure I didn't had to wait too long to provide me the room....little wait was ok and understandable as I came in too early.||I had booked Sea Shore Pool Villa for the period of 10-13 September 2024 (3 nights) which included tax, service charges, breakfast, an extra bed for a 16-year-old child, and roundtrip airport transfer (airport code USM) to the resort.||The villa was beautiful and with comfortable beds , clean bathrooms and very unique interior design which was inviting.|The private pool was clean and we enjoyed the partial sea view which was good.||They have various villas which can be checked on the resort website.||The restaurant was lovely and staff was the highlight of this whole trip as everyone were soft spoken and really eager to help you with anything.||The breakfast was ok ok and the spread was I would say just adequate....I would not say it was a large spread but this section can be an area of improvement as most of the dishes like chicken sausage , Becon etc were repeated for all 3 days.....so this can be looked upon by Mr Poy.||The lunch was good as we only had it once during our stay.||The common pool area was good and had few sun downers with lovely setting of pool bar as well.||The hotel grounds was clean and well maintained with greenery and trees and had very peaceful and inviting environment.||Now the main question.....how's the beach....|So it depends on ones preference.....The beach is Rocky with lot of corals and absolutely clean and clear water.|You may have to have footwear on to walk on the beach however I went without them but had no major issues.|If you need to enter water you have to have footwear on as the corals may be sharp.|The beach is the best one for snorkeling as the water is clean with lots of corals and fishes but not recommended for hard-core swimming though you may relax in water with footwear on.||I enjoyed the lovely blue water beach as it was almost a private beach with only 1 resort ( Saii Koh Samui villas) sharing the beach.||We had sitting area near the beach which was lovely and relaxing.||The resort is situated just a few minutes walk from main road which had 7/11 and few other shops and good massage centres.|I would recommend having a bike or car to travel in Koh Samui as it's not practically easy to walk everywhere....I had hired a self drive car which was the best decision during my visit as we were 3 people (2 adult + 1 child)....Noone checked if I had any license but I did have an international driving license just to be on safe side.|Driving is UK , India ,Thailand format.|Evenings may have traffic in some sections so plan accordingly.|They have Grab app for transport but i had my own transport.||For places to visit do yourself some research as it depends on ones preference as all the beach and attractions are beautiful and we enjoyed visiting them.||We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday and the team made a warm gesture by preparing delicious Mango Sticky rice for us......thanks team for that.||My 2 cents is do book your holiday with them and you will really enjoy the warmth hospitality that they provide and I would like to thank Mr Poy and his lovely Seadance team for making my holiday a...

Accom Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, heaps of space, everything you need, daily housekeeping, replacing beach towels every day, tidy up the room, fresh water bottle replaced etc. Came home on my birthday with a Happy Birthday written on my bed in bamboo and flowers. 5 star. We had a plunge pool that we all loved. You will have resident tiny geckos that bark infrequently but get rid of bugs, and my kids absolutely loved them. We are nature lovers and felt that we were nestled in a beautiful local environment. You’re in the tropics so take mosquito repellant. Same advice for anywhere you stay on Samui. Bird life with beautiful dawn chorus, and cheeky squirrels everywhere.
Resort Overall, gorgeous. All the bungalows are quiet and private. Like everywhere Covid has obviously impacted. The things that matter have been maintained - rooms, restaurant, main pool. Pool bar has obviously been closed for some time, but when we were there upgrades were occurring. I guess as the tourist dollars flow back in it will return to perfection. Pool was beautiful. Lounges with fresh towels throughout the day. Drinks service whenever. Wifi - I struggled a bit with this. Restaurant no problem, but we had a router in our room that I had trouble connecting to. Positive - the TV in one of our rooms had a permanent connection to wifi and was great for Netflix and we also used it as a web browser.
Restaurant I love it. Beautiful place. We had breakfast included. You could eat cereal, yoghurt, juices. You can order eggs, bacon, sausage. American style breakfast available. I ate Thai every morning with a fried egg. They serve proper coffee. Superb quality dishes. I think a dozen great Thai options, and maybe four western. I worked my way through the Thai menu and was never disappointed. My wife ordered a burger once and it was fantastic. My kids ate spaghetti bolognaise 20 times because it was high quality. It wasn’t busy. We just skipped down the pathway at any time of day and they looked after us.
Beach It’s great, but it’s not the pure fine sand that you want to spend the day on. There is a reef just off the shore so if you love snorkelling thumbs up. The sand is a coarser grain with coral and shells and great for exploring but not great for sand castles. I hired a car and visited many Samui beaches and this beach was super clean compared to others.
Location Stay here. It only takes 45 minutes to drive around the entire island. OK if you want party stay in Chaweng but that is only 10 minutes in a taxi. There’s a 7/11 (slow) 10 minutes walk up the road for essentials (I love a cheap can of beer by the plunge pool), and just outside the resort there was a place that will do laundry for cheap. Seriously the best place to go that is close by was Fisherman’s Village (Friday market and restaurants). I rented a Toyota Yaris from a company called “Stay With Car” and the price was good, they delivered and picked up the car, and they didn’t want to keep my passport or any other crazy conditions. Highlight was Fisherman’s Village - this is 500TBH away from Sea Dance or 10-15 minutes. You’re going to pay for taxis, but it seems to be a set price so transparent. Places I liked? Jungle Club - yeah my Yaris (just) made it up this hill, the food was amazing (if expensive) and the view was amazing Coco Tam’s - superb pizza, can be a bit how can I say Instagrammy? Came here for my birthday and i can recommend Friday as they have beanbags on the beach and a wonderful fire show.
Staff The best. I repeat. The best. Nothing was a problem. English speaking. Excellent.
Summary Stay here. I recommend and I...
Read morePros: The rooms were great, good space, a lot of light, felt nice not having a room right next to you and greenary was on point. Loved our little pool, the bird sounds the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a lot of space and look great loved the floor because you won't slip and it absords water well (only negative is bad lighting for doing make-up). The give you robes and slippers. the pool and beach are quiet, clean, and peaceful. The resort is very small so you can get to the front, your room, the pool and beach within 2 mins unlike other resorts.
Cons: the rooms aren't as private as I would have liked some rooms were a lot more exposed than ours forsure (but they give you robes and there are curtains which ruins the scenary)
the beach is clean and peaceful but not as usuable since most of it is rocks and the sand is rocky. so only a little can sort of be used to swim around in (but this does make for great snokling just bring water shoes for all the rocks).
the pool is small and no one was ever at the pool bar (but resort is small so not a lot of guest so it never felt packed and the outdoor resturant that has a bar right next to the pool and they will bring you your drinks)
not all the staff were nice some you can tell would get mad if yo ask for 2 towels for 2 ppl while at the pool or if you got to breakfast early and you ask for an egg you got a look forsure but this was only about 10% of the staff most were great. Also no concierge I had a wedding and they couldnt help me find somewhere to get my hair done.
Also note you cant just walk out to the streets its more in the back so you need a car to drive you out into the roads where you can get that red taxi and ubers are not as cheap here as they are in other parts of thailand
I gave this place a 3 because I felt like the picture cat fished me a bit the resort is tiny and very shabby chic very over grown jungle than jungle feeling. dont get me wrong wasnt bad but not the resort feeling I wanted and was excepting. Also the issue of not being able to access main road by foot. Ill add photos so you can see want I mean by shabby chic, the entrance, and rocky beach.
overall this hotel might be perfect if you dont plan on just louging in your hotel but going in and out and want...
