Seoul korean restaurant — Restaurant in Ko Samui

The location is cool. Nice in the evening, lamps make it cozy, and the wind is cooling👍

They have a regular menu and a buffet menu. Most people come for buffet so it's the thing they're specialized on, I guess.

But the buffet is weird. First is the menu: you can choose between 2 buffet options but it's difficult to understand the difference between them and the staff speak really poor English. We ordered one of the buffet options. You pay for each person but they bring only the amount of food intended for 1 person. That's because you can ask for more. But you need to see these portions! They are tiny in tiny little bowls. They didn't say that the system is like this at the beginning and they hardly understood when we asked to bring all the bowls as if we were sitting at separate tables, because it was very inconvenient to share these small portions and ask for more every time.

In the end, the food is not really tasty. The green salad is too sour because of the vinegar. Soup and kimchi are too spicy. Kimchi is also very sour. There's a tiny piece of omelette which is simple and ok. The meat is very good.

Great authentic Korean BBQ / Korean restaurant Quaint spot with a green garden out front, lots of private space / seating for groups, kind attentive & efficient staff And most importantly, delicious Korean food. The menu is extensive and doesn’t leave you wanting for much, if you’re solo they even have bbq sets per person (we were 2 so we got 2 solo sets) and if you aren’t in the mood to BBQ there’s loads to try from the a la carte like gimbap, kimchi fried rice, japchae, pajeon all sorts of dishes, the waitress was kind with us as we took a bit too long to order staring at the menu 🤭 and we also moved outside after ordering she quickly noticed & relocated our set up.

Would visit again in a heartbeat (and will next time I’m on the island)

Bonus it’s Conveniently located right outside a spa, you could make a great afternoon hitting the sauna and then filling up...

The food is always delicious, served with a variety of side dishes that perfectly complement the BBQ. They offer both a la carte and buffet options, so there's something for everyone. The food tastes amazing, especially when paired with a cold beer. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, making each visit even more enjoyable.
