Delicious. My wife and I enjoy seafood. We had two whole fresh fish (yes two, we were hungry and they looked great).

We spend a lot of our travel time in places with beautiful coasts and fortunately great seafood. To date this has been the best fresh fish we've been fortunate to have.

We went in the mid-afternoon which is relatively calm in terms of how busy they are (at night this place is packed with locals - which is something we look for).

Our waiter took us to see the fish which is kept on ice. Not half hearted ice but packed to maintain maximum freshness even though it was caught just that morning.

Once we picked our fish we went with their recommended flavoring/seasoning. One was fried and one grilled. Both were cooked perfectly.

The accompanying sauces and sides were all tasty. We tried them all, enjoyed most, but had our fill on the fish (which I believe our waiter hand prepared). I have heard this is common.

You really should go. We rode our scooter halfway around the island for it and it was worth the ride.

There were only 2 tables in use, but no one greeted us. We walked in and sat at the only other table with a cloth on it. There were 3 young looking staff, one reluctantly came, pulled the cloth off, shook it, and put it back on the other way round. Our drinks and glasses were banged on a tray at the side instead of on the table. In every other Thai restaurant it is poured for you. This restaurant was a highlight for our recent trip to Koh Samui. Our large group was staying at a villa up in the hills and we found it quite difficult to find food to bring up with us. Supermarket-type shops in this area are quite limited, especially if you do not have access to your own vehicle. We found what we could at local markets and 7-Eleven.
