Sunshine Coffee&Beach Bar — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

After around ten days staying in Bang Por, we went to the Sunshine Beach Bar tonight. The very friendly owner couldn’t do enough for us - was super helpful and the food was all delicious. In previous restaurants we may have had one or two good dishes for our family of four - but here, every dish we ordered was so fresh and tasty. We had a lovely sunset view as well - it was all so perfect - our favourite night of our holiday so far. We ended the night with my husband having a few rounds of pool with the owner. We actually went there for their Wagyu Steak but they didnt haveit at that time...so I got the Hanger Steak & yes they did really well with the grilling & finished product. Seasoning was on point, tender, juicy & not over done. Great job on the steak.

I personally didnt like their steak sauce & their vegetables side order, I asked for 2 the Red Wine Sauce & the Pepper Sauce, not the best sauce & Im sure they can defenitely do it better. An evening of delight! The owner gave us a hearty greeting, and we were treated to a phenomenal dinner! My wife and I divided and conquered one French and one Thai dish, and it was among the best food we've had during our three week adventure in SE Asia. That's saying something! As we were finishing our meal, a delightfully talented saxophonist livened up the already jovial atmosphere with a variety of phenomenal jazz music.
