Act 5 - The Grill — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

We had the pleasure of dining at Act5 last night as a group of four, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The starters were exceptional, with the tuna tartare being a standout dish that we all loved. Special thanks to the F&B Director for the ribeye recommendation—it was spot on and cooked to perfection!

Act 5 Steakhouse is located in the Centara Resort and the service was impeccable for our dinner on a Wednesday night. Take note they are only open Wednesday- Sunday and I recommend obtaining a reservation. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed every bit: wedge salad, tuna tartar, prawn cocktail, the mushroom side and the tenderloin was just perfect. Extremely disappointing. This was the worst meal we had on the island, shockingly so for one of the most luxurious and expensive restaurants. How can anyone get lamb chops so wrong? They were completely inedible, unbearably heavy in taste, overly thick, and impossible to eat (At $50 for just three chops) The salmon was no better, drowned in salt and equally unpleasant. After a long back and forth, the restaurant reluctantly deducted 50% of the lamb dish. Absolutely not...
