english text below Es gibt einige wenige Schweizer Restaurants auf der Insel. Das von Armando ist eines davon. Bei unserem Besuch war er leider nicht da, er weilte in der Schweiz. Trotz Nebensaison war das Restaurant nahezu voll. Die unglaublich freundlichen und liebenswerten zwei Thailänderinnen haben uns bereits bei der Ankunft informiert, dass es länger dauern wird bis das Essen kommt, da sie nur zu zweit arbeiten. Das Warten bei einem guten Glas Wein fiel uns nicht schwer. Vom Essen waren wir restlos begeistert! Wir haben diverse Speisen bestellt, thailändisch und schweizerisch. Das Schweinefilet mit Röschti hat mich begeistert; einfach grossartig!!! Solche frisch zubereitete Röschti mit echten „Gschwellti“ (Pellkartoffeln), findet man in der Schweiz praktisch in keinem Restaurant. Das gibts fast nur in Privathaushalten mit guten Hobbyköchen. Die beiden Thailänderinnen haben ohne sich aus der Ruhe bringen zu lassen, das ganze Restaurant alleine bekocht und bedient. Eine wahnsinns Leistung!

I was thrilled by the pork fillet with Röschti; simply great!!! You won't find such freshly prepared Röschti with real "Gschwellti" (jacket potatoes) in practically any restaurant in Switzerland. It's almost only available in private households with good hobby cooks. The two Thai women cooked and served the whole restaurant on their own, without letting themselves be distracted. An amazing achievement! You don't need to say much about the ambience if you look at the picture; right on the beach, fantastic sunsets. Too bad the boss wasn't there. Very nice staff and sympathetic owners but had cheeseburger...meat was totally under cooked...I do like medium or even medium rare but the outside was charred and inside was raw...the buns were over done as well...we also had bbq fish which was decent but will not return there...also the fries were stored bought... And this was my first real not Thai food since I have been here in Thailand for over 2 months now...will be sticking to authentic Thai food...
