Family run business with about 7 tables with 1 outside. 2 young girls come out and take your orders/serving you and then looks like mum and dad in the back making your food. A real old school where everyone contributes sort of place. Food was great, I had the chilli chicken with rice and my partner had the panang curry with a portion of the pad Thai on the side. A side note, excuse the pun, on the pad Thai, it was the first ever pad Thai I’ve had “wet”. Sauce all over over it. It really wasn’t to my preference but my partner really enjoyed, so no marks down for that. To add a fried egg it is 20 baht. As we have found on this island, no one is in a rush, so the food probably took 50 minutes to come but that was okay with us, we expected it and felt like the quality of food justified the price. There are definitely cheaper options (as well as more expensive of course) but the quality is high and for 20 baht more when you order “a bigger portion” that comes closer to the American/British portions I am used to. A standard sized meal would meal you would need an additional dish to fill you up. We ate here 2/3 nights and was not disappointed. If you’re willing to wait a few minutes as the place is ALWAYS packed it’s definitely worth checking out. Enjoy.

totally not good, I ordered red curry, they asked about how spicy I want, I chose a little bit spicy, but it turned out just coconut milk soup, it has no curry flavor at all. I had Thai food a lot of times, it’s my first time to know that how spicy equals how much curry in it(argued by the owner, saying he‘s local bla bla). And they asked if I like the dish, I said no, they tried to ask why, I was trying to say I didn‘t know the extent of spicy is only adjusted by how much curry they use, but they won‘t let me finish, arguing it‘s me who ordered a little bit spicy, At least give me curry instead of just coconut milk! they‘re aggressive. With same price or a lot lower price, you can have a lot better food at other restaurants. See what the owner posted, it’s “Very Stupid” In Thai! You said because I chose a little bit spicy, so you basically didn‘t add curry, since when chili equals curry or masala? They’re not only aggresive, also rude to call others stupid! And I just found there’s A very similar experience in the reviews too! If you don’t wanna be lectured like a fool, choose another place to save your trip. They called me stupid!

I ordered the chicken with cashew nuts and the cashew nuts were pure rubbish. When I pointed on this to the manager, he started to argue with me saying that they were all good, they must look like this. He was rude, raised the voice, pointed to me with his finger and said «he knows better than me». Then he told my girlfriend in thai language that if he had bought good grade of cashew nuts, it would have made the dish more expensive and we would not buy it then. What? So, you are trying to lower the cost price of the dish by putting some rubbish cashew? And the fact that he started to argue with me, trying to make me look like a fool in front of his other guests was disgusting. Very rude man. To add more, I’ve never seen that many big pieces of watermelon ceeds in smothie. Portions were small as well. And we waited for our dishes may be for 30 mins. Choose another place.. poor food, small portions, long wait time and if you don’t like anything in food, they will try to make you look like an idiot. I usually don’t leave reviews, but this man made me do it…
