SomO — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

What a lovely little restaurant so deserving of every 5* review. Quick service and food served promptly. We had the massaman , Penang curry, garlic pepper chicken and chicken nuggets. All were cooked utterly perfect. The massaman has to be the best I have ever eaten, with fall apart chicken and a to die for sauce. Definitely give this restaurant a try.

Edit: We chose to come back again on our last night in Koh Tao and we were not disappointed. This time we ordered satay chicken sticks, chicken nuggets again for the kids, massaman and a burrito plus mango shake and mixed coconut/pineapple shakes. This place deserves a 10/10. 2nd edit: Even the Mexican food is superb! 🤯 The chef here is seriously talented! Edit: I kept returning here because every single meal I had was perfection. Staff has great english. I have celiac, I asked the waiter for a gluten free option and he helped me. Ended up ordering the Tom Yum Fried Rice and was delicious!

My girlfriend ordered fried thin noodles and it came with egg (she's vegan). She asked for another one without egg and they didn't charge us for the second dish!

One downside - meals took 30 minutes to arrive so ask the waiter how much time does it take (Pad Thai for example is quicker).
