Salt. Seafood restaurant & bar — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

I choose this restaurant for the last day of my friend, she was wanted to eat sea food… I couldn’t choose better ! Service was really good… it’s really reach Europe service level. We loved the fact you arrived you have some towel for refreshing … it’s nice because especially this time the weather is extremely hot..

About the meal .. it was excellent ! Everything from starters, sharing plate, main courses…. We try lot of differents things… Edamame with sea salt & chili Vongole with white wine sauce & tomato (special mention for this one, the sauce is just 🤤 with lemongrass …. It’s just so so amazing !! It’s defo the best vongole I had….) Ceviche barracuda Sea food plate bourgeois (was very complete you get everything - our friend order one each and it was perfect for 1 person) White snapper (Really amazing also… super fresh, cook perfectly, sweet mash potatoes so tasty…) Rigatoni with shrimps

Cocktails are also nice, and we take 2 bottles of wine - I highly suggest the French Chardonnay Les Plants for the meal, and the Sauvignon for after food from New Zealand ….

Definitely the best place to go for having a nice diner with a wonderful service. Atmosphere with deco is also beautiful.

I read a lot about this restaurant and his chief. One of magazines gave good recommendations. And one of the nights me with friend went for a special dinner there. I ordered edamame w/salt and chili- cause I used to try this dish in a lot of places in Saint-P, Tbilisi, even Thailand. And this dish supposed to be very crunchy, bright and juicy - it should be ideal snack for lager. But this version was very “healthy” - good, but not for me. And the main dish was octopus w/tomatoes and mashed potato - not bad taste of sauce, octopus was not bad, but it shouldn’t cost 510 bath - only two small tentacles, a lot of potato, and 4 or 5 cherries. By the way - service was just great, super fast, very attentive guys work there - very good management. So, my opinion, it’s a place with good service, not bad interior, but overpriced food. We tried so many places on the island and honestly when we first time came to Salt we realized that’s the place we will spend all our vacation: The food, cocktails, vibe, music and atmosphere…. I felt in love with absolutely everything in that wonderful restaurant . You can eat and drink there every day and never get bored from it. Also you can find large selection of amazingly delicious food and cocktails. I’m very thankful to chef for being so attentive and I have no doubt that he is an absolute genius in his field.

I also want to note the concept where the team not only provides a high-level service, but also creates a friendly environment and they will go extra mile to help you with any questions.

I have visited so many places around the world and been to the best restaurants and I want to say that I am incredibly impressed with this wonderful restaurant. Well done to the team! Highly...
