Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience dining in at Sea Sun. The place looks great and the view is spectacular. Service was good.

Food is overrated and overpriced. My partner ordered half chicken for 380 baht and it was dry. The seasoning has no depth to it. Chips were ok, not good though especially with that price.

Now my dish, I ordered fried rice with chilli shrimp paste and fish. It came out looking good. However, it tasted bad. It was super sour and spicy. I am Thai and I eat spicy. If the flavor is balanced, spicy would make the dish even more delicious Unfortunately, it's not in this case. It's pure sour and spicy which made it worse. I literally couldn't eat it and returned it after 2 bites. The chef cooked a new rice for me with same fish which I don't mind.

But the dish was still bad. I was very disappointed. I just ate half of the rice with fish. The paste was still sour and not pleasant to eat.

I appreciate the chef for trying to cook me again but unfortunately it wasn't good. I'm not a picky eater but it was disappointing to eat and I couldn't eat even though I was hungry. I told the staff again after I paid and on my way out that the dish still wasn't good but I tried to eat it anyway.

Best coconut matcha latte we ever had! Great location, there is always fresh cooling air no matter where you sit, and the beach is right next to your table. Super chilling atmosphere with nice background music. Prices are not high at all, we paid for 2 drinks each 80 +service charge thats very good and drinks are high quality and very delicious. Saw some ppl complaining about price which we dont understand. Where in the world can you get these prices with this view? Only 4 stars even we really enjoyed our visit bc staff could bring more service mind especially if its not busy only 4 tables were there. They were friendly when took order but thats it, not asking if we like our drinks or anything and we have to wait few minutes until one staff stop chatting with their colleagues and see that we want to pay. Good area, most dishes are quite small but tasty however the service is lacking. I ordered raw salmon from the appetizer menu. It doesn’t say it is spicy but says fish sauce which I know is spicy. However I asked them to make it not spicy at all just because my stomach can’t handle it. The waitress repeated the order and confirmed with me that by not spicy I didn’t mean less spicy but not spicy at all. The salmon came spicy, yeah I still ate it and I will enjoy a small stomach ache. However the “manager” told me it’s Thai food it should be spicy.
