Sunset Garden — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Great view like all the bars along this stretch, but best avoided as they have terrible service and attitude - the server brought me the wrong drink and even after I returned it and explained this to them several times, the manager refused to take it off my bill or offer me another drink.

I didn't want to make a scene so I paid it and told them they would lose a lot more than the 80 baht, from other people who appreciate good service, and would be turned off coming here once they read this bad review.

It's a shame as I travel here every year and most places have great service, I'm looking forward to trying out some of the other places and leaving them a good review to balance this one out - definitely avoid, ugly service...

A great place to hang out for happy hour and sunset with friendly service, reasonable pricing and chill vibes. Customer service was a priority to them for sure. Extra care was taken to constantly rake/clean the beach as the tide went out. Chicken satay was very delicious 4.5 star - juicy and flavourful with a great peanut dip. Spring rolls were 2 star - a bit greasy and taste of old grease. Beers came really cold and in koozy sleeves - 5 star. 5 to a 0 so fast i nearly lost a finger. I used to come here on a regular basis, have a few drinks and watch the sunset. I ate a few times and got on with all the staff, I turned up today and the owner came out before I had even got off my bike and told me never to come back. he didn't give me a reason and got right in my face. shame, the staff are lovely. not sure what else to say. just wow. well I'll go and spend my money somewhere more welcoming. what a tool. I will jot recommend to all the guests T my resort anymore. plenty on bars, like the one next door WITH a pool table. keep smiling...
