Koppee Beach Club — Restaurant in Ko Tao

This place offers very relaxing ambience with a lovely view to the quiet beach. They also play very nice jazzy music good for the evening when we visited.

They have good selection of food and drinks on the menu but the price is quite expensive compared to the portion of the food.

We had Burmese Tea Leaf Salad and Chicken Satay Wrap served with complimentary potato wedges. Both the dishes were very tasty especially Burmese Tea Leaf Salad but the quantity is small for the price.

The drinks were decent but Kaffir Lime Leaf Honey Lemon Soda was a bit too sour, so we requested them to add a bit more honey to it and it tasted better.

The staff were attentive and pleasant to interact with.

They also have homemade dessert but we haven’t tried any of them yet. Maybe next time will come back and check out their coffee and desserts.

Overall we like this place but if the quantity of the food is bigger it would have made more sense. For the 2 dishes we ordered and 2 drinks, it was more than 600 bahts that day.

Update: We went back to this place to try their coffee and smoothie. The smoothie was very nice but iced latte was alright as it was a bit watery.

I had an unsettling experience at this restaurant. When I paid, the waiter didn’t place the bill folder on the table as usual. Instead, he just handed it to me while standing, with the change inside, and immediately walked away. This unusual behavior caught me off guard, and only after checking the money did I realize I had been given too little change. I was so confused by the situation that I hesitated for too long and missed the chance to call him back.

The food and drinks were ok (update: at first, but a little bit later I was hospitalized bc of food poisoning.
