We were having a beer and playing cards with friends when, without any warning, all the lights were suddenly turned off and we were left in complete darkness. When we asked the staff what was happening, the only reply we got was: “my boss told me to close the bar.” It would have been much more considerate to warn customers 10 or 15 minutes beforehand, so we could finish our drinks and pack up our things properly. Instead, we had to put everything away in the dark, relying on our phones for light. What was also surprising is that customers playing pool were allowed to keep their lights on for longer, with no explanation. From experience as a cook I can tell you they don’t clean the greasy grey water from the thank of the kitchen very often. Water was going out the pipe into the sea on the beach, Disgusting🤢🤮.
