Went to The Jumping Bean this morning to watch the Super Bowl. We had pre-booked a big table for our party. Jumping bean was packed. It was all a little bit chaotic. People were issued with numbered stickers for each bill & yet Bills were still wrong at the end of the match. Drinks were great but the servers got every food order wrong for our table. Breakfast burrito came out as a taco, bacon taco came out as a chicken taco etc. I waited until after the initial rush to order an omelette (which was on the menu & no I am not a vegan). I thought it ambitious that the server didnāt write it down but just repeated it to me & then herself. Half an hour later it still hadnāt appeared. They said sorry no record of it, will make now - what did you orderā¦? At this stage I was 3 Bloody Maryās in & Iād passed the point of being hungry, so thanks but no thanks. At no point was I rude, did I roll my eyes or cross my arms. I was watching the game & just wasnāt hungry at that point & was firm that I didnāt want anything else. There was then problems with the bills.. one of the bills for our table was sent back 3 times to be corrected!!! It was all pretty chaotic. This is the 3rd time Iāve visited the Jumping Bean & 3/3 times thereās been a problem with the food. How many chances do you give a place? Great atmosphere & I had a great time with my friends. Not once did the owner come to our table to see how we were or to apologise for the mistakes, between us our table spent a lot of money. I have nothing to benefit by writing a less than perfect review for this restaurant. I love supporting local businesses which is why I gave this place a 3rd try. Reading the owners responses to the other less than perfect reviews, shows that she cannot accept a bit of criticism from paying customers & maybe make improvements. I wish her luck with her restaurants...
