The Titan Restaurant — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Kitty and I, along with a group of friends, had planned a special seafood dinner at Titan Restaurant. We'd heard great things about their seafood feast and were really looking forward to it. However, we had a late lunch and ended up arriving at the restaurant around 8:50 p.m., just before the last orders were taken at 9 p.m.

We were disappointed to find that the selection of seafood was quite limited, as their seafood feast starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. It seemed that much of the freshest seafood had been taken earlier in the evening. A few of our friends also mentioned that the seafood didn't seem very fresh.

We ended up opting for other dishes instead of the seafood feast. While we enjoyed some of the dishes, like the crispy Thai spring rolls, the stir-fried flat noodles (both beef and seafood), the Hawaiian pizza, and the pan-fried pork belly, the overall quality of the food was just average.

Our group also sampled the stir-fried basil with minced pork, fried pork, and the spicy sour and soup with mushroom. While we found the pizza to be a standout, the other dishes left us feeling like they lacked a bit of flavor and excitement.

We also enjoyed a variety of drinks, including coconut shakes, Jack Daniel's, blue butterfly pea drinks, banana smoothies, mango shakes, mojitos, mai tais, and Sangsom. While most of the drinks were quite good, we were a little disappointed with the rum. The first round of Dark Rum we ordered was rather bland and didn't have much of an alcohol taste. However, the second round was much better.

The service at Titan Restaurant was excellent! The staff was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we had a positive dining experience. The ambiance was also nice, creating a pleasant and comfortable setting.

Overall, we had a mixed experience at Titan Restaurant. While the drinks were good, and the service was excellent, the food unfortunately fell short of our expectations. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially considering the restaurant's focus on seafood. We also found the pricing for the hard liquor to be a bit steep. Our six glasses of hard liquor cost nearly half of our total bill, which was unexpected.

Our total bill came to 8,880.47 baht. We'd give the food a 3-star rating and the drinks a 4-star rating. We appreciate the friendly service and the comfortable ambiance, but the food wasn't quite as memorable as we hoped it would be. We'd consider coming back for drinks, but we'd probably try a different place for dinner.

For it to be a nice restaurant, having to order via QR code and not being able to order with the waiter is not exactly what we expected. Aside from that, we order, beer, appetizers, and main courses. Only one main course showed up after asking about it around 30 min. of waiting. The second never arrived. We asked again and the order was forgotten. After 90 min. and again asking we got an apology and we're asked to wait again to prepare the meal. We asked to cancel the order and got a refund. The waiter was very sorry and we are also sorry. It would be harder to have such misfiring by letting us interact directly...

В меню написано СЕТ, и прописаны все блюда, которые есть в этом сете. Однако вам принесут только то, что есть на моем фото. Счет вам принесут выше, чем должно выходить по меню. Второе блюдо был тоже сет с красной рыбой, там тоже была только рыба и грибы. На вопрос, где все остальное, отвечают что ошибка. Однако будьте добры заплатить даже больше, чем прописано в меню. Когда заказывали красную рыбу, ткнули прям пальцем в меню на сет за 340 бат, а в счет пробили вообще не сет, а одну рыбу за 650 бат🤦🏻‍♀️ данную проблему решали целый час. Не решили . Хотя мы даже предоставили им фото блюда, которое нам принесли)) В итоге, в сете нет половины из того что написано и + пытаются обмануть. И еще, в меню написано , что ВСЕ СБОРЫ ВКЛЮЧЕНЫ В СТОИМОСТЬ БЛЮД, КОТОРЫЕ УКАЗАНЫ В МЕНЮ. А они эти сборы добавили поверх окончательной цены. В общем, один шок. Пытаются обмануть людей, надеясь что никто не будет...
