Beautiful view and a nice place to get a coffee or smoothie but can’t recommend the food. Service was fast even when quite busy which was impressive. It’s not table service and you need to order at the front so some QR codes on the table for easier ordering would be a good addition.
Got the eggs Benedict with salmon and the Hawaiian toasted sandwich.
The Benedict was on top of 2 slices of very crunchy bread that was difficult to cut and chew and there was very little salmon. The price is alright but I’d prefer to pay a little more and get a normal sized portion of salmon rather than half a slice per egg. They also include a lot of things on the plate to take up space and make it look bigger than it is.
Toasted sandwich looked amazing in the pictures but when it arrived it was mostly bread, very little cheese or pineapple but the bacon was nice. Very expensive for the size...
Read moreI had the spirit bowl which I thought would be a healthy nutritious meal. The tomato’s in the salad were fried which I couldn’t believe. It’s not an English breakfast, come on! The bowl came without a dressing and when I asked, they gave me olive oil. Now bear in mind the spinach and mushrooms and tofu were all fried in olive oil, the dressing did not complement the salad. I feel this is an example of thai chefs creating western dishes so I recommend to make their own dressings for their salad with mustard, cashew, vinegar, lemon etc and experiment. I also recommend frying the vegetables in coconut oil since it is in abundance on the island and olive oil is in its most nutritious form when not heated. They could add cucumber, peppers to the salad and maybe some hummus. The current elements don’t work together. Didn’t try any...
Read moreWe first visited What’s cup last year (March of 2023) and personally I think the quality of the food has gone down since then. I remember last year when I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon I really enjoyed it. However, since coming back this year, it’s not how I remember it. There was barely any salmon on the dish. Also the hollandaise sauce just tasted like melted butter.
We were also a group of 4 and ordered at the same time. However, my partners food took forever to come out and he arrived it once everyone had finished eating.
For dessert we ordered the açaí bowl. However, you could barely taste the açaí in it. It mostly tasted like mixed berries so much so that I had to ask if we had gotten the wrong dish. If you’re looking for a good açaí bowl I’d recommend Pura...
