The atmosphere is shady and filled with freshness from trees and moss on the rocks, The food is delicious except for the mixed salad because the taste of the salad dressing and the meat didn't really go together, It's probably because the meat was still cold from the freezer, And the blended iced Thai milk tea was still quite bland, however This place is very suitable for stopping by for lunch, The staffs were quite welcoming and attentive since walking into the place, but I'm not sure why one of female staff who took the order at our table treated us like this, it was seems like she didn't really want to serve us, When she did it the first time I didn't care much because I thought she didn't intend to do that, But the second time when she came to take the order at our table she still did the same thing, This time I'm sure that this is really who she is! We're all tired, It's not just you, So taking your tiredness, emotions or anything else out on your customers by using a dissatisfied tone is not the right thing to do, do you like if someone treat you this way ? Because we intended to go there to eat and support you, We didn't go there for any staff to treat us like this, and Don't assume that the customer won't hear you when you're walking away and speack something you shouldn’t, being Sarcastic is inappropriate, I’m very sure I'm a person who talks and treats the staff very well every time I go to restaurant, What I said about this staff was definitely not based on any prejudice, It's the truth that happened, I have no problem with the price of foods, drinks, but at least make sure the service and the taste of the food to be in the same line...
Read moreIt used to be my favorite restaurant in Bangkok, but they recently increased the price of every dish by 50 percent while adding 17% VAT (lol) to the total bill. The food was still delicious (to me, at least), but my friend who ordered stuffed chicken got food poisoning that night (he hadn't eaten all day, so it must have come from this restaurant), and my partner told me they must have changed the chef because the Thai food no longer tastes as good as it did before.
I do not believe it is the most effective marketing strategy for a restaurant to charge significantly more for just a few extras than an average restaurant. We arrived at 8 pm, and the restaurant was empty. Yes, the garden is beautiful, but that's just it. We used to stop by this restaurant for the food, not the garden (remember, it's a restaurant, guys).
Well, you could either dine at Scarlett, a semi-gastronomic rooftop restaurant with a fantastic view over Bangkok, an extensive wine list, and imported cuisine, or Baan Suan, a traditional Thai restaurant with some international dishes for the same price. The choice is yours...Definitely not the greatest decision they could have made; I will never return.
However, the staff is still very polite and friendly. Please note that not all of them speak English, which is sometimes hard to communicate.
Message to the owner: you are now considered a top-notch restaurant according to your new prices, so you should hire staff from this category. Don't be a Scrooge; pay them appropriately and provide them with...

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with fresh air and an inviting atmosphere. The venue is beautifully decorated, offering plenty of Instagram-worthy spots for great pictures.
It’s an excellent choice for private events, with ample space and a warm ambiance that sets the mood for any occasion. While the back area is still under development, the work in progress looks very promising and adds to the excitement of what’s to come.
The service was commendable, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious, with options catering to both vegetarians and vegans, which is always a plus. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor.
The overall ambience was serene and inviting, with the surrounding trees and greenery creating a peaceful retreat. However, given the natural environment, it’s a good idea to come prepared for the friendly ants and mosquitoes that come with the territory.
Baan Suan Sathon strikes the perfect balance between natural beauty, great service, and delicious food. Whether you're looking for a quiet meal, a stunning venue for a special occasion, or just a place to unwind and reconnect with nature, this spot is worth a visit. I can’t wait to see how it evolves once the back area is...
