The restaurant is historic of Bangkok.

Great Food great service and like you turn back home with good choice from the big menu.

Food: Excellent food design and match with the price paid, also the ingredients in each menus really amazing touch with local and foreign friends. we went there quite many time since many years ago. therefore we knew the difference between good and improvement. The taste 😋 of food really good and matched. Includes beverages is amazing with pairs on plate. Really like it. We end up with three bottles of sparkling wine with 3 of us, the food is amazing depending what you would like to try.

service: Home away from home, the service is not like hotel style but it is feel you back home with friends.

Location: Good spot and walkable from MRT Lumpini station. Even motorcycle taxi...

I’ve been craving pizza and was finally able to get my fix at Lido! It’s a charming Italian restaurant in the Sathorn area that’s tucked into an alley which makes it a little hard to find. I enjoyed the Pizza Diavola (spicy salami, mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce base) it was simple but the accompanying olive oil, oregano, & red pepper flake toppings really kicked the flavor up a notch and reminded me of pizzerias back home (NYC). The crust was crispy w/o being tough like brick oven pizza should be. The menu also contained a variety of pasta dishes, insalatas, risottos and even calzones! The service was great, all the staff were super friendly, and it’s good for families/children. I definitely recommend checking...

Went there for desserts and was very disappointed. While this is an Italian restaurant, this place cannot possibly be held by Italians as they would never allow such a low level of execution on their desserts. The tiramisu had no Rhum nor coffee flavor. The Zabaione had too much alcohol, so much it tasted like foamy beer. And the worst part was the tartufo: they used so much cheap squeeze chocolate in it that it was impossible to taste anything else than its powdery cheap chocolate taste. Really disappointing. So I would NOT recommend this place for desserts. I still have to taste their warm dishes so I can do a comprehensive review, so with the benefits of the doubt I am so far leaving them...

Terrible pizza. Very hard, tasteless chewy crust. And the so-called mozzarella, tasteless to begin with such as everything else with this dish, turned into a hard plastic-like consistency once it cooled down unlike real mozzarella, which stays soft, creamy and stringy. The so-called olive oil on the side looked nice except that it didn't taste like olive oil. It was probably regular cooking oil instead. Even after dousing everything with oregano and chilli flakes, it was still terrible. I have no idea why this place has such high ratings. People with no taste? Domino's would have been better.. The only reason why I ate it was that I was incredibly hungry. Never ever will I come back here. 😒
