Catan - tapas bar / restaurant — Restaurant in Trat Province

Lovely looking place, imagine a good vibe if busy.... food on the other hand was terrible. Ordered the mixed tapas & 4 cheese balls, 1 beer, 1 coke - 700+ baht. We obviously knew the prices before we ordered and we were OK with it but the food did not match the price - obviously frozen food, deep fried, hot on the outside but cold inside - staff seemed more interested in playing pool and drinking wine than serving or clearing plates. We used the Catan most evenings over our 3 week stay in Kai Bae, the owner Johnny and his wife Anna supported by the 4 marvellous girls were so lovely and welcoming, my wife and I played a lot of Pool with locals and tourists alike whilst be looked after by all the staff, the atmosphere every time was so much fun, if you are looking for a great place to eat and drink whilst enjoying a friendly time then I can highly recommend this...

Beautiful decor, great atmosphere, good music (theres also a podium for live music but it wasn't used today), great drinks, amazing food and lovely very friendly staff. Possibility to play pools or little board games at your table. And not to forget the sweet dog walking around who's in for some cuddles. All in all great experience and will definitely come back during our stay...
