Absolutely great choice. Do stay here. Excellent rates for bungalows with fan or A/C, though trust me, get the A/C room if you can. All of them should have it, really. The restaurant is FABULOUS, and I mean it wholeheartedly. The selection of both Thai & Western food is terrific, the taste is spectacular, and for once, the portions are BIG, so I don't have to order 2 dishes per meal here like everywhere else. The food is so good that it alone warrants the 5 star rating, and precludes any desire to eat anywhere else. The bungalows are simple and decent, all you need; and the outdoor shower/toilet grotto is a welcome touch. The staff is friendly, and so are the rescued cats that hang around. The rescued dogs are ok, but requested to not be petted. The location is set uphill from the main drag at the end of the road, so is as far away from the noisier street din as can be. You might hear some nightclub sounds, but it's not too bad. Earlpugs resolve it if necessary. Mosquitoes are epic,but that's Thailand, not Oasis. Muscle balm such as Golden Cup & Icy Hot are perfect mosquito repellants, by the way. (yah-MOHNG in Thai, if you want to buy). The only real complaint I have is that there is no designated smoke-free zone in the lounge/dining area, so we nonsmokers have to endure the smokers contamonating the chillout/dining area. Otherwise it is just fantastic, and I will definitely stay here again when in K Chang. Also you can rent a motorbike just at the street end of the soi at Mama's Motorbike rental for 150 or 200B. First of all, I think this place is nice and cozy. The owners are very nice and very welcoming. I recommend this place, but there are lots of things to improve.

The problem is the lady at the front is unprofessional. The sign is too small. We all agree that the sign on the main street is USELESS and NOT obvious. We tried to call and asked for bits of help, but that’s even worse. When we called, the lady answered the phone and assumed that we worked in a pizza house. If you work as a front, you don’t answer the business calls or even assume that your client is a pizza house. Then, I asked her to share the location, but she said she could not do it because she didn’t know how. That’s terrible. When we arrived, she treated us differently. She looked at me and kept staring at me with anger, and we all agreed that she was not welcoming and unprofessional. The manager seemed okay, but he kept explaining stupid things and triggered a fight. He protected the lady and said things like it is not their fault but that’s our fault that we couldn’t see. In the business war, if the offline marketing is not clear, you potentially lose your income. If I didn’t pay for a night before I came, I would move to other places.
