Cafe Del Sunshine — Restaurant in Trat Province

This is my favourite place to stay on Lonely Beach. I have spent alot of time in Koh Chang and will return to Cafe Del Sunshine everytime. I have stayed in both dorm and bungalow. The prices for both are really reasonable when considering the quality of the accommodation. It is a very clean hostel and there are always lots of lovely travellers to meet. The showers are always warm and the wi-fi never had any problems. Due to location it can get a little loud at night, which is the same for most hostels in Lonely Beach. I stayed in the dorm for over 2 weeks and slept well most nights. The staff are the best part. They are understanding, respectful and will make sure everything is as it should be during your stay. You can rent scooters for a reasonable price and book trips from the main desk. The cafe has a great menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert) both western and Thai food and very reasonably priced. They have some of the best shakes and coffees I have had in the area. This place is ideal for budget backpackers and travellers. It is a very social place, but also somewhere you can relax and take time out. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk away and there are lots of shops and restaurants around. I highly recommend...

The hostel is okay for a few nights, when you don´t want to spend too much money. The lady for check-in seemed very annoyed, so it was not a lovely welcome - check-out was better. The house keeping stuff was very nice, always friendly.

You see, that they put a lot of efford to create a nice "beach and hippie" vibe. The beds have mosquito nets.

The location of the hostel is good to go to the beach, as lonely beach is only a 5 min walk away. There´s also a lot of nice and cheap places to eat (can recommend "VOSA ROTi"). At night, is it very loud, as the main bar and club road is the same of the hostel. You can hear different music starting in the evening until 6:30 am.

The food in the Café itself was okay, but would rather go somewhere else to eat, as for what you get, I think it´s too expensive. The coffee is amazing!

I recommend the hostel to everyone, who wants to stay in a cheap place and wants to go out at night, so won´t be disturbed by the noice. When you are on the island for the beaches and to explore, better stay in...
