This place is something special ❤️ The food is AMAZING! The family that runs it so nice. But it’s that extra little detail and love in the food and service that sets them apart. Such an attention to detail in the little flowers and lovely cutting of the vegetables as well as asking exactly how spicy you like your food and check on you, if everything is oke. The daughter creates jewellery and made us beautiful bracelets on the spot, because both girls liked the same 😄 The restaurant was on my saved google maps list last year and I truly regret not having visited it then. We will surely come back. It’s in a side street, so you have to know it. But I can see they have frequent fans who come back again and again. I saw a selection of Dutch food on the menu as well, no idea if it was good, because I would never eat it in Thailand 😉 (but I admit ordering the gyoza and they were fantastic!) Highly recommend! 🥰 (4 stars for athmosphere as I missed a soft tune of music in...

During the day, it’s perfect for cold drinks, light snacks, and a front-row view of the sea. First time we came to Dutch Thai Food in Koh Chang was at sunset—and it was packed. We were quoted a wait time of over an hour, so we passed that night and came back later in the week around 8 PM. Totally different experience—no wait, same great vibe.
The fusion of Dutch and Thai food is definitely unique, and they plate it beautifully with edible flowers and a touch of flair. The Massaman curry looked incredible but was a bit too sweet, and despite asking for spice, none of our dishes packed any heat. Still, everything tasted fresh and the service was friendly and on point.
It’s a laid-back spot with an unbeatable sunset view (if you can snag a seat), and while the food isn’t perfect, the overall experience makes it well worth the visit. Just maybe avoid peak dinner hour unless you’re...
