Lola's Food Company — Restaurant in undefined

Ahhhh....... Where to start........ Lola's have been operating for the past 2 years or so, and I just recently saw them on Facebook. They had so many top reviews and best of all, trip advisor rated them #1 must visit. So I did just that. We walked in at about 12:15 not knowing it is advised to make reservations for dining on Saturdays. That was not a problem. They quickly checked their bookings and accomated us. We did not like our seat and the staff saw that and moved us around to a more comfortable seat. 1 star. We were seated and started going through the menu, and asked our server what he will recommend. Here in Trinidad, it is common for the servers to state that they don't know how this or that is, because they never ate it. Not this guy...... A full description of the dishes were given, truly allowing us to taste it as he spoke. 1 star. We ordered a drink with the food but decided to order another drink while the food is being prepared. The hot chocolate with toasted marshmallows came within a few minutes. We did not even have time to get well into the drink, and the food came. 1 star again. That breakfast was by far the best we have had here in Trinidad. The waffles were soft and light, the chicken was tender and flavorful, the apple salad and tomato salsa just topped it off...... The pasta and chicken also was simply divine. 2 stars. In all I give them 5 stars hands down! Thank you Lola's for your delicious food, excellent service and comfy home away from home ambiance. Recently visited there for a quick and simple breakfast menu and wasn’t disappointed. The service, the drinks, the tea, everything was really enjoyable and of good quality and quantity.

I opted for the Waffles, Eggs and Bacon (with my waffles upgraded to the cheddar and chives) was super delicious and I preferred this type of waffles compared to the original ones. Bacon was super crispy, chocolate tea was perfect with the little addition of the marshmallow, and their passion fruit juice is really good, not too sweet nor sour.

Other basic options are available such as: sausage, roast bake, scramble eggs and they also have a local menu. I really loved their customer service as the waitress was soooo friendly, inviting as made up feel at home. Kudos to the entire time. 👏🏽 can’t wait to visit again!

Giving 5 stars just isn't my thing but you guys deserve single one of those yellow emoji thingies! Had breakfast with my wife and 2 kids yesterday and fell in love with the welcoming atmosphere and the servers all felt so warm and familiar, i thought that they were gonna call me by my first name! The food was amazing and equally amazingly priced. I foolishly assumed that at those prices that we would be getting the usual 'small portions' you get at other establishments and so foolishly ordered an extra 'something', as back up. Lets just say, i gave myself a mountain to climb, mind you a delicious one! The usually fussy eaters cleaned their plates and even offered to help me! Lets just say I'll be back again...and again...and again...and..you...
