The food is decent...some days better than others. Don't like when the servers touch my roti with there bare hands. Why can't they wear plastic gloves and not touch other surfaces before touching my roti?? Why do they keep the roti under the counter. Why not keep it out in the open where people can see what's going on? The place has a dark dungeon like feel. Add more lights and brighter colors please. Finally, as beautiful as the cashier is, why does she feel the need to match that with equal levels of unfriendlyness??? She does not respond to hellos nor good afternoons. No smile. Despite the decor and layout being a bit more modern than the average roti shop, they've managed to recapture the authenticity of a rustic roti shop. Unfortunately I prefer a nicer customer service experience than the one provided which is half the reason my rating is so low..
The food was once the best roti in the area but recently the quality has slipped down a few notches, though they are still way better than Hot Shoppe.

Read moreSince Patraj burned down and rebuilt (next door) on Tragarete road, their food quality and customer service has dropped. Patraj roti used to be the most spoken about roti in Trinidad, years ago the place burned down and rebuilt next door a few weeks later.
The customer service is poor, and the food quality fluctuates between not bad and okay.
The price isn't bad and the place is located in a convenient location, but parking is a huge problem.
