The Crapaud Foot — Restaurant in Port of Spain

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY TO COME HERE. THE FOOD WAS NASTY!!!!! The food was absolutely terrible. The calamari was burnt and bitter. We had to send it back. The Rasta pasta was the only thing that we ordered that was decent. The mashed potatoes were clearly not made fresh there was no butter in it and no milk. It was just mixed with water and box mashed potatoes. The food was over expensive AND NASTY. I’m really upset we came all the way to Trinidad to celebrate my moms birthday because the reviews were so spectacular to pay $700 on food we did not enjoy. To make matters worse we notified them on the reservation that it was a birthday celebration and they had no cake or any type of deserts. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Nelissa our server was the only good part of our trip this restaurant.

Should be renamed to Crapaud Hand: Wife and I saw their launch on YouTube and loved the concept, decor and ambiance, so decided to try them out. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown around the yard which was beautiful. Server was attentive, ambiance was great. However, it looks like they forget the most important part od a restaurant - the food was atrocious! Forget sweet hand -is Crapaud hand you getting. Ordered bbq chicken wings, sliders and pepper shrimp for dinner for about $520. When our meal arrived over an hour later, it was bland and tasteless. The bbq wings were not bbq. They were deep fried and tossed in what tasted like 90% ketchup. Sliders were dry and tasteless, shrimp was rubbery. Must say this place is amazing. The atmosphere is so nice and welcoming, it has that couple vibe to it for sure. STAFF: They are amazing 😁 talk about a very welcome greeting and our server did not catch her name but she was so friendly and attentive. FOOD: Our dishes were amazing Appetizers: Calamari & Mocojumbi Fries which is basically a loaded fries but boy was it 👍 10/10.
