Went there tonight with a little suspicion, thinking it could be a tourist trap - turned out totally the opposite. The service was good and fast, the food (one of the Tunisian specialities) was delicious and flavourful. Loved the Arabic music in the background too.
I had ordered almond tea, which didn't arrive, but it turned out it was because they were going to treat me to a mint tea plus the local sweet ON THE HOUSE - how kind! The bread and the dips before the meal was not put on the bill either. In the end I had so much nice food, on a rare restaurant situated on the city wall of a UNESCO city, for only 20 dinars (£5). And the dough was thick and crispy! The-best! I also ordered ojja with sausages. Big portion but I didn't know that it would be this spicy. The waiter asked me how spicy I want it and I said medium. Medium I can take. It was still too much. So keep that in mind. The sausages not the great for my tastes. Big portions, great food and prices for...
