Restaurant located inside a remodeled charming old house with a courtyard. The place still retains the old charm as much as possible. The food was on point. Had a brik to start with, which was thin and crispy outside with perfectly runny egg inside. The brik was followed by some hot hlalem. And then there was the main course of couscous with lamb osban (organs wrapped in intestine). Osban has a delicate flavor and is bit if an acquired taste. The one in this restaurant was really flavorful that soaked up all the spices to the right amount. And like all other places the meal ended with seasonal fruits...

It was perhaps our bad luck. We were there for lunch, but we were told to our utter dismay and disbelief that the manager forgot to book our tables and prepare our food (and we were 20+ people!!!). You can imagine the chaos, waiting, and hunger that followed. Finally, we were seated, but after a long wait with no water or appetisers offered, we had ridiculously small quantities of stale food. And. No. Apologies.
Not only was it unforgivable, but also some kind of robbery, seeing the price...

We arrived today afternoon to the restaurant 10 minitues before kitchen was closed, but the manager and the staff both welcome us with a smile and kind gesture. This Dar is very old, oriantal, and beautifully decorated. The manager took us around inca tour and allowed us to take as many photos as we want.. She was so warm and kind. The food was a exquisite and the service was excellent!! ...
