I should have followed my instinct and backed off . First place with a bouncer with leather jacket and security sign, the MMA fighter type. Welcome or rather not? The tablecloth showed what previous guests had spilled next their plate. The wine glass carried lipstick. Up to the menu . No fresh juice available as I had in other places ? Okayyy. The salad was pretty OK. The waiter tried to sell fish from the fish-on-ice buffet . No Thanks , I chose the farmer's chicken. Can't tell you about it because "no have". Again tried to sell fish. I went for the stuffed squid. Large bowl with flavoured pasta and squid surrounded by grilled green pepers. Good taste. Quite noisy. Clothes smell of tobacco. The male clientèle likes to wear bb caps and winter jackets during dinner. The MMA bouncer seems to think he must follow customers from the door to their table. I thought this was the waiter' task. Security issues here? The final straw was that after I ordered an expresso, the waiter came back to tell " no coffee but have coffee shop next door" . No, this is not how a normal restaurant works. I do still give it a 3/5 because I understand it is a popular place for some kind of the locals. And also because the menu has some exotic dishes such as sheep head. La Cloche d'or is a very good restaurant to chill and have a meal. It is a bar restaurant so there is a lot of noise as primarily many people come to drink and chat. Like all the other restaurants in Tunisia, smoking is allowed in the closed space and if you're not a smokers, you have to bear.

저는 아시아인이며, 저녁식사를 위해 예약 후 먹으러 왔더니 주문한 금액의 2배를 청구하고, 그것이 이상하다 생각되어 영수증을 요청했더니 손글씨로 아무렇게나 쓴 영수증을 받았습니다. 그래서 우리가 주문한 메뉴와 금액이 세세하게 명시된 영수증을 요청하고, 결제한 카드의 취소를 요청했더니 "그런 건 할 줄 모른다", "네가 할줄 아느냐"며 막무가내로 응대했습니다. 너무 황당하고 불쾌합니다. 있을 수 없는 일을 당했고, 절대 다시 오지 않을 것이며, 절대 추천하지도 않습니다. 부디 망했으면 좋겠습니다.

I am Asian, and after making a reservation for dinner and arriving to eat, they charged me double the amount I ordered. Thinking this was strange, I requested a receipt and was given one scribbled out by hand. So I requested a receipt detailing the exact items and amounts we ordered, and asked for the transaction to be reversed on the card used. They responded with utter arrogance, saying "I don't know how to do that" and "Do you know how to do it?" It was utterly absurd and deeply unpleasant. I experienced something completely unacceptable. I will never return, and I absolutely will not recommend this place. I sincerely hope they go out of business.

Je suis asiatique, et après avoir réservé pour dîner, on m'a facturé le double du montant de ma commande. Trouvant cela étrange, j'ai demandé un reçu et j'ai reçu un reçu griffonné à la main. J'ai donc demandé un reçu détaillant les plats commandés et leur prix, ainsi que l'annulation du paiement par carte, mais le personnel m'a répondu de manière arrogante : « Je ne sais pas faire ça », « Et vous, vous savez faire ? ».
