Do your due diligence and don’t trust tiktok influencers who advertise for this place, because despite the beautiful views and decor, the food and service are horrible. In fact, if you are here for views and drinks only, then this place might be for you. But if you are expecting quality food for the price you are paying ($$$) and an elevated dining experience, forget about ever coming here. My partner and I came for lunch, there was no host to greet us or guide us to our reserved table. The restaurant was mostly empty however so we decided to seat ourselves wherever. I ordered the shrimp risotto. The risotto was too oily I couldn’t even eat a quarter of my plate and the shrimp was overcooked. 3/10 My partner had the linguini aglio e olio with royal shrimp. The head and tail weren’t peeled off, but the waiter didn’t even bother to present us with an extra plate to put the peeled head and waste. The shrimp itself wasn’t even cleaned, with its feces presenting a dark black line down the spine, completely gross to look at and a deception considering this a “fancy” restaurant. 4/10 During our meal, and even with an almost empty restaurant, no one had came to check on us, or ask whether we found everything okay or if we needed refills on drinks. The waiter came at the end to collect the plates, and this is where the real deception was. We simply noted our concerns and deceptions towards the dishes, the dirty shrimp and oil-submerged risotto.

Upon hearing the feedback, the waiter did not even issue an apology. He simply left. Finally, as we were leaving we were given dirty looks and no final goodbyes.

Unfortunately this was our second visit to the restaurant as we liked the view and the food was ok so we decided to visit again. The girl who was at the gate asked if we have a reservation and we said that we did not know we needed a reservation as we came before without one. She said impolitely that it was because we came during the day and now is night time and we needed a reservation. The restaurant was nearly empty but she did not let us in. We went back to the car and decided to go to another restaurant when the security man came to tell us it was ok to enter the restaurant. Also the girl apologized from us for her behavior. Then the waiter asked if our mother was Saudi. And if we came before. We said we are Saudis and yes we came before. He asked if our mother came yesterday and we said no. Then he said the ambassador of Saudi came yesterday and said that tomorrow her daughter will come. So they thought we were her daughters. Which now makes sense why they let us in. Then they were chatting with each others and blaming the one who let us in and why did he let us. He said I saw Saudi girls and thought they were the ones. Then suddenly, their behavior changed and became impolite and unprofessional. They even were wearing frowned faces. It appears the staff working at the restaurant were judging people based on their outfits and whether they speak French or Tunisian. We were ready to leave and they were the ones who brought us back and this is the way we get treated. I would never recommend this restaurant unless you want to be treated as a trash. Honestly it’s a good place well decorated near the beach and the food was good, the only thing that i didn’t like and pissed me off is the security guard outside, i’m local but i don’t live in Tunisia and originally from sousse, so the day i had my flight departs from the airport in tunis on a sunday, so while i was there in tunis, we were driving by and we came across this restaurant so i wanted to try eating there before my flight, it wasn’t planned for me to go there because of the people or social media i do not care about all of that at all. So we parked the car and we approached the security guy, he was so RUDE , he didn’t let us even explain to him that i have a flight and i won’t be for so long that’s why i didn’t make a reservation , and then an old waiter came and apparently he saw that i was wearing brands so he was like let me speak to the manager, !!!!! What ? , so he went upstairs and came back and he let us in, but then tourists came and they let them sit in a couch table, so if i wasn’t wearing brands he wouldn’t let me eat, imagine ! So disappointed in the restaurant business in tunisia, honestly i would rather go to restaurant in the hood areas than going to this luxurious wannabe filled with fake people kind of places.
