Today I was in this restaurant for the breakfast, I have to say it was very disappointing, comparing with previous years..Breakfast was nothing special and not appetizing at all..MOREOVER, I found MOULD on the cheese!!! I'm currently pregnant, so I was really frustrated imagining I ate that. When I showed it to the waiter, he only took the plate without saying sorry..he didn't bring the new one either..after long time of being closed at home I hoped for a good delicious breakfast, instead I went home with almost empty stomach and anger that I ate mould. I was surprised to see old tomatoes and cucumbers, few pcs of cheese (with mould!), little pcs of the cheapest old white bread (even my dog doesn't eat), there was really nothing to choose.. I've eaten here four times now. I wish there was a 2.5 star rating. While the food is a 4 star - very good, clean tastes, good product - the last times I was there the live music was a complete turn off and warranted a 2 star. I don't mind music but the staff insisted on turning the volume up on the live band to the point you couldn't have a conversation with the person across the table. Normally when the live band is so loud they are substituting volume for talent but here it wasn't the case. The group was good but just way too loud. I went out to eat with my wife and friends, not with the band. Unfortunate because I probably won't go there again with Luigi's much more convenient with just as good of food, great cocktails and...

Çankaya’da bulunan fige restaurant 20 yıla yaklaşan tarihi ile Ankara’nın önemli restoranlarından biridir. Sanırım en son 8 yıl kadar önce gitmiştim. Aradan geçen yıllar içinde her şeyin aynı kaldığını görmek mutluluk verici. Bordo duvarlar bu mekanla ilgili aklımda en net kalan kareydi, hala duruyorlar ve hala güzeller. Hafta sonları , belki de sadece Pazar günleri, emin değilim, açık büfe kahvaltı yeniden başlamış. Biz Cuma akşamı gittik, her Cuma ve Cumartesi akşamları arkadaşım burak altun sahne alıyor ve olağanüstü gitarı ve sesiyle geceye renk katıyor. Burası alkollü bir işletme, menü hem şarap hem de rakı için uygun. Mutfak personeli de yıllardır değişmediği için eski müdavimleri için lezzetler tanıdık gelecektir. Muhteşem biber dolma, zeytinyağlı pırasa var. Bakınız muhteşem diyorum, gerçekten tam ev işi lezzetler. Ara sıcak olarak domates soslu ızgara hellim çok başarılıydı. Çin usulü bonfile ve safranlı pilavını beğendik. Şimdi gelelim gecenin yıldızlarına. Evet biliyorum garip ama enfes bir tepsi mantısı var. Hamurların tepsiye simetrik olarak dizildiği ve hepsinin içinin hatırı sayılır miktarda kıymayla tek tek doldurulduğu harika bir tepsi mantısı. Fige’de benim için olmazsa olmaz. Ve nihayet gecenin yıldızı gerçek çikolatalı sufle. Çoğu yerde sufle diye verilen lava cake değil. Bildiğimiz eski usul sufle. Sipariş süresi 20-25 dakika, benden söylemesi. Fige Restaurant, dekoru ve büyük oranda koruduğu personeliyle adeta zamana meydan okuyan bir mekan. Tabi bu dediğim bizim gibi eski halini bilenler için geçerli. Bilmeyenler için de hoş bir mekan olacaktır diye düşünüyorum. Yeri gelmişken önemli bir not düşelim. Ankara’da özel gün kutlamaları, teklif vs için çokça kullanılır. İhtiyacı olanların aklında bulunsun.
