My experience with this school was disappointing. After paying the fees and receiving my invitation letter, I prepared all the necessary documents and submitted my student visa application.
The consulate asked me to request the school send a confirmation email from their official address to verify my enrollment. The school first sent one from a professional email but then sent the same message again from a personal Gmail address, which I believe may have raised the consulate’s suspicions.
Later, I received an email from the consulate that made me think my visa was approved, so I went to the consulate expecting to receive it. However, during the appointment, the officer raised verbal concerns about the school’s legitimacy and consequently began to question my intentions, suggesting I might not be coming to study. Although nothing was provided in writing, these concerns seemed to lead to my visa being refused.
What was especially frustrating was the school’s response. They declined to refund my payment and did not acknowledge responsibility, noting that other applicants had been accepted, which felt like dismissing my personal experience. When I asked for a refund, I felt as though my honesty was being questioned.
I had trusted this school with my money and my future, tried to defend them during my consulate appointment, and now find myself exhausted from having to continually explain and defend my intentions to all parties.
This has been a difficult and costly experience, both emotionally and financially. I lost a significant amount of money with no resolution, and my plans have been completely altered. I share this to encourage others to carefully consider their options. In my experience, when problems arose, I was left to bear the full cost and handle the consequences...
Read moreI recently completed a Turkish language course with the Turkish Council and I must say that it was an excellent experience. The council's program for foreign language learners is outstanding and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Turkish. The teachers at the Turkish Council are highly qualified and experienced, and they use a variety of teaching methods to ensure that students learn the language in an engaging and effective way. The classes are small and personalized, which allows for a lot of interaction and individual attention. The teachers are also very supportive and encouraging, which makes the learning process enjoyable and motivating. The Turkish Council's language program is well-structured and covers all aspects of the language, from grammar and vocabulary to speaking, listening, and writing. The course materials are of high quality, and the council provides a lot of additional resources, such as online exercises and practice materials, which are very helpful for students who want to reinforce what they have learned in class. Overall, I was very impressed with the Turkish Council's Turkish Language Education for Foreigners program. The quality of the teaching, the personalized attention, and the comprehensive curriculum all contributed to a highly rewarding and enjoyable learning experience.
