The food was great, but I’m really disappointed with the service. The waitstaff didn’t speak English, and it took a long time for anyone to take my order. Meanwhile, a group of Turkish women sat down at the table next to me and their order was taken right away. I just kept waiting. At first, I assumed maybe a different server who speaks English would come over — but no, it was the same one.
Water took forever to arrive, and I had to specifically ask for it. In contrast, the tables around me had their water refilled constantly without even asking. To this day, I remain perplexed about the reasons behind the...
Read moreI used to be a regular at this restaurant as it used to be one of the best restaurants in Istanbul to eat Italian food. I visited it a couple of days ago after a while. The food was fine but I was not impressed with their tiramisu which had a weird aftertaste and which used to be excellent before. I have mentioned it to the waiter and they did nothing about it. Furthermore, I ordered a glass of Gavi di Gavi white and I believe I was served some Turkish wine which I am not a fan of. I was on date so I didn’t want to complain further but my last experience with this restaurant has not measured up to my previous...
