Pier Habib — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

Founded by Mucahid Kaan Damgacı Pier Habib seeks to differentiate itself from other Baklava purveyors through modernity, the tiny tiled space in Beşiktaş decorated in everything from tiles to disc balls while friendly servers offer crispy Phyllo soaked in sweetened Milk.

Intentionally a fusion of French and Arabic names, embroidered carpets making Pier Habib seem as much like a luxury goods store as a Dessert shop, the East-West fusion continues by way of ingredients such as Bananas and Chocolate though the best bites remain rooted in Pistachios from Antep light with Honey and sopping wet yet...

I couldn't wait to go home and I ate 6 pieces alone 🤣🤣. We went to buy 2 pieces to try the cold milky baklavas. And when we arrived we were greeted by the nice gentleman and the nice lady and we looked at the display and started getting hungry. 🤤 we asked to get a box of 12 mix to try the different ones. Suddenly, once we started eating we couldn't stop Nd me and my wife ate 12 pieces in less than 5minutes😆😆.

Recommendation is the classic cold pistachios bklava the basic one is yummy. Also the one with chocolate powder above is great. Try and you will go out super happy

🥺 Overhyped sütlü baklava? Sadly… yes. I’ve passed by this place so many times thinking “One day I’ll try it!” — and I finally did. Gave their famous sütlü baklava a shot… but honestly, it just didn’t hit for me 😕 It looked amazing, but the taste didn’t match the hype. Maybe I came too late at night? Not sure 🤷‍♂️

I really wanted to love it, but it felt overrated. Maybe I’ll give it another chance one day — but for now, it was a miss...
