Popeyes — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

They don’t know basic English even though it is branch in the international Zorlu center. I ordered through self ordering kiosk, while waiting for my order I had a chance to watch the crew and they were completely lost and it seemed like they didn’t have any idea what they are doing. They are putting fries on the trays and then they let them sit there and wait for like five or 10 minutes obviously they have been cold after that. When the order was done, they didn’t really announce it properly. It wasn’t on the screen and it happened that they gave my orders to someone else after while the person came back with my order and brought it back then the crew gave it to me. I’m not gonna even speak about the hygiene issue of this but the food I got was so cold. I received some different sources than I have chosen and also my fries are not the those I ordered the burger meat wasn’t good probably not fresh. I can’t recommend this place to anyone. I have experience with Popeyes from the Czech Republic. However, when I compare it, our franchise is much much better. It has some standards and it keeps it. Awful experience at fast food restaurant. The staff members are soooo rude. They can not speak basic English and talk to you back in Turkish (even when you say you can not speak Turkish). They told me they wouldn’t accept a UK card payment however after insisting it will work he let me try and it went through and didn’t even apologise. I opened up the burger and the chicken piece was the size of a match box and I went to the staff and she said this is it. I showed her the receipt and finally she said ‘fine, new one’. I opened the new one and it is the picture attached, even the new burger was extremely small. To make things even worse the chicken was pink and not cooked, we ended throwing it all in the bin.
