Dürümcü Nuri Usta — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

After traveling 20 days in Turkey, we were back to Istanbul and end up to this restaurant. The review looks like okay. We’d like to give it a try.

Unfortunately, the experience is not that good. They prepared two different menus. One for us to order and another one for us to pay. As someone who’s digit sensitive, I already calculated how much we need to pay. When we were paying at the counter, the staff closed the menu there and asked a boy to take another menu, showed me how the total counts. I already saw the first menu there actually.

Finally, we pay 40TL more. To be honest, it’s nothing for us if u show me the second version at the beginning. The price is okay for us, and maybe we’d like to come back since we were living nearby.

Nevertheless, this experience made us sad and didn’t wanna go...

"Omg". Sooo delicious. A wonderful modest hole in the wall restaurant that we discovered tonight. For less than $8 USD (48 TL) we each got a lamb kebab plate (husband got lamb liver kebab, so good) with rice, naan, cooked vegetables, side salads (wonderful dressing) and a coca cola (in glass bottle, the best) to share. Everything cooked to perfection. I honestly cane to this place because the place i wanted was closed on sunday that was higher rated but to me this tasted much better .. i had the adna kebab and it was bursting with flavour yummm i am gonna miss it .. the only thing is that the place is not as presentable as i would hope but its ok coz food and prices are good another downside is that it is down a hill so getting there is impossible thats why i only ordered once but i will...
