I would have given them better review/ratings if we didn’t get restaurant scammed here.

My friend and I decided to have Uyghur food for lunch after I recommended to her and she wanted something different from Turkish food.

The restaurant we wanted to go to turned out to be closed so we decided to go to this one instead.

When we walked in we were welcomed and seated. The waiter brought a water bottle to our table and served us the water — we didn’t ask for it and thought it was complimentary. Then they serviced us two uyghur samosa - again we didn’t ask for it and that it was complimentary like how most restaurants give breads.

My friend and I ordered two different lagmen dishes and a meat naan.

My friend liked her food. I found my dish to be little cold. I asked for extra meet, which it seemed like they didn’t give.

At the end when we got our receipts 🧾 noticed that they charged for the samosa and the water.

I really didn’t like that but didn’t bring it up to them. And I was stupid enough to give them 100 lira as tip ms on top of that because they were looking at us and I felt bad. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️.

Advice to the restaurant staffs: don’t give something to your customers which they didn’t ask for and then charge them for it at the end.

We were on holiday in Istanbul for 9 days. We went to this Uygur restaurant upon recommendation and Google reviews. The staff were very professional and courteous. The food was moderately tasty. There was a wait after placing the order, but we didn't mind as the restaurant atmosphere was very nice. Cleanliness was top class (10/10). The toilets were very clean with no smell. The prices were OK - compared with some grotty places we have eaten at during this holiday. There is a small prayer room for salah in the basement floor, which has a proper wudhu basin. We really appreciated this, as we could all pray our maghrib whilst the meals were arriving at our table. We sat in the semi-segregated section of the restaurant floor. Bugün akşam yemeği için mekana gittik, daha önceki dört gidişimizde de yanımızda kendi arabasının içerisinde kopegimiz vardı. Araba dediğim tekerlekli bir taşıma çantası düşünün ve köpek küçük ırk, bu restoranda köpeğimizle birlikte en az dört beş kere yemek yemiş olmamıza rağmen bu defa köpek arabasında kapalı olduğu halde bizi kabul edemeyeceklerini söylediler. Daha önce burada yemek yedigimiz ve köpeğin de yanımızda olduğunu söyledim ama artık kabul edemeyeceklermiş. Yine iyi niyetle belki de aşı konusunda huzursuz olmuşlardır diye köpeğin pasaportunu göstermek istedim, ama bunun da yeterli olmadığını söylediler ve hiçbir şekilde kabul edemeyeceklerini açıkça belirttiler . Ta Ömerli‘den kalkıp buraya kadar gelmişken politikaları bu yönde değişmiş olsa bile en azından yemeğimizi yedikten sonra biz kibarca uyarıp sonrasında artık köpek kabul edemeyeceklerini söyleyebilir ve böylece hem bizi kaybetmemiş olurlardı hem de nezaketleriyle çıtayı çok yukarı çıkarmış olurlardı. Bir daha yalvarsalar da bu mekandan içeri adım atmam zaten. (bu noktadan sonra yer alan yorumum önceki dört beş deneyimimle ilgilidir ve eski tarihlidir) Acaba nasıl bir mutfak diye merak edip deneyimledim ve çok beğendim. Son derece lezzetli yemeklerle adeta şov yapmışlar. Bayıldım. Türk damak tadına çok uygun, hafif acılı ve etli bir mutfaktı. Hele başlangıç için Samsa dedikleri ve kısaca etli börek diye tarif edebileceğim bir lezzet vardı ki anlatamam. Soğuk ve acılı et salatası inanılmaz güzeldi. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Biz üç kişi üç ana yemek, bir çorba, et salatası ve birkaç çeşit destekleyici tabak söyledik, 1600 tl hesap ödedik ve o yemekleri düşününce bu fiyat gerçekten çok makul. Bir hamburger menünün 400 lira olduğu bu devirde kişi başı 500 küsür lira hiçbir şey değil kıyaslandığında. Hizmet hızlı ve ortam gayet hijyenikti. İlk fırsatta tekrar gideceğim, gönül rahatlığıyla...
