A very odd experience this Sunday akin to visiting the Adams Family for a baked pototoe and english breakfast - a mid day fill-up before our flight home. We'd eaten our meal and was served by an unsmiling, silent waiter who stared and hovered about our table. We had visited King Arms before for an evening meal and had exemplary service. This Sunday, my partner was taken by the hand then kissed as if she were Royalty. That wasn't enough! He did it a second time! No words spoken, no good reason. Was keen to say her name which must then have been passed on to a more senior figure as her name was used again as we left quite briskly - better not hang around or use the toilet! The King Arms should realise this behaviour is unnecessary and more likely to be interpreted as "creepy" as customers may decide to avoid a return visit. Not the ideal way to attract repeat business. We were so well looked after, and there were so many nice touches - asking all our names, giving us a vase of newly cut flowers, being offered taxis, asking what music we want played…we were even given apricots from their garden.
We can’t wait to go...

The menu had a picture of breakfast pancakes. I ordered chocolate pancakes and it came out as one tortilla type bread drizzled in chocolate. Looks like crepes. Tasted ok but not as expected. The menemen was mostly tomatoes and in big chunks with not much eggs.
Most of the things they served were poor quality.(cheese, olives..)
Ordered a Turkish pancake with just cheese and potatoes. It came out with almost raw big chunks of onions that ruined the taste. We sent it back but the waiter was rude about it. Service was poor.
More expensive than...
