Decent food, however the staff tried to scam us due to us being tourists in Izmir. They not only charged us the wrong amount for the dishes - they aswell double charged every main dish!!!

When confronting this they said that the menues are not updated with correct prices and due to Corona and inflation increased the prices. We could not accept this so they so they tried to lower the price with a little, however we were still heavily overcharged! Imagine having one price on the menu and charged another, twice!!

We did not accept this so they said that they would call the Police. I kindly recommended them to do so so the law could bust them during the scam. They did of course not call the Police.

After a while, they lowered the price with so much that we just paid, eventhough we probably still paid 100 lira too much. We were just tired. When leaving the place the owner shouted at us that we were bad people and should be ashamed - in front of other dining customers.

Not only did the owner give us an extremely bad experience - he actually made a shame of himself and gave us a poor experience of Turkish hospitality. Every turk attending the restaurant looked ashamed of what was going on.

Scam restaurant

Fixed price menu is absolutely not fixed price. Many things “included” in the fixed price are actually an extra charge when the bill arrives.

1. Fixed price menu says 5 appetisers. Scam. It is 2 per person. Extra charge if you are only 2 people.

2. Fixed price menu says there is a mushroom appetiser. Scam. No mushrooms. No discount offered despite not receiving this dish.

3. Fixed price menu says 35cl of wine is included per person. Scam. Wine is not included. Wine is a (very large) extra charge when the bill arrives.

Overall we were charged 1.5x what the menu says. Scam restaurant.

All this said, the food was nice and the waiters were friendly up until the bill arrived. The English speaking waiter was excellent. I felt bad for him when I had to complain about the bill as it...

Daha önce misafirlerimle gelmiştim buraya tavandan su akıyordu, yüksek sesten iki kelam edemedik, hepimizin midesi bozulmuştu. Yine misafirlerimle mekan bakarken önünden geçtik. Oturmucaz daha önce böyle şeyler yaşadık dedik. Ben buranın müdürüyüm diyen esmer biri Misafirimin koluna girdi. İlla oturun ikram yapacam ürünler yeni hesapta yardımcı olacam diye 10dk kitledi bizi. İyi hadi dedik oturduk.

Yine ses yüksekti. Şarkı söyleyen arkadaş masaya geldi. Birer içki söyledik birini döktüler. Biz söylemeden Hemen bir tane daha içki söyledi şarkı söyleyen arkadaş.ikram dedikleri meyve tabağı geldi. Şarkı söyleyen arkadaşa 400 lira attık. Neyse.

Hesap bir geldi. 3 şarkıya 900 lira, şarkıcılara söylediğimiz (biri dökülen) içkilere DE 900 lira yazmışlar. Etti 1800lira. Meyve tabağını yazmışlar. Hesabın yarısı kadar havaya para ödedik. Ben müdürüm diyen arkadaş bu sefer "ben anlamam" demeye başladı. Bastı mutfağa gitti. Bir sürü garson masaya toplandı. Dalga geçer gibi 100 150 lira kesip düz hesap yapalım diyorlar birde. Kesinlikle gidilmemesi gereken bir mekan. Kimseye tavsiye etmiyorum. Biraz keyif yapalım dedik....
