Billy's Cosy Corner — Restaurant in Marmaris

From the Cosy Corner to our Ideal Pearl Hotel you could have lobbed a football. It looked perfect to be what we call our local on a holiday destination. On our first evening we popped in for a drink, now I’m supposed to be streetwise and as wide as the Clyde. We were greeted with a fist pump and a kiss to my wife’s hand, arguably no problem there. I then ordered a pint of Efes and a Vodka and Diet Coke for my wife. I received my pint and my wife received 2 Vodka’s and Diet Coke, I’m thinking oh it must be BOGOF. This happened for the 4 or 5 drinks that we had, we are out for our first night, I’m obviously in a good holiday frame of mind. The Turkish staff are coming over introducing themselves, very friendly. The problem then appeared, although I was ordering a pint of Efes and a vodka and Coke and the waiters were bring over my pint and 2 vodka’s we then received the bill. As you can guess it was for 5 pints and 10 vodka’s, was it my fault for not questioning, possibly. But never at any time did I order a pint and a double vodka. All I’m saying is be very wary when you visit the Cosy Corner. I would estimate that their 5 additional vodkas cost THEM about 18 to 20k lira over the cost of our holiday. Probably twice as much as we meet a nice couple and went out with them at night giving the Cosy Corner a wide swerve. PLEASE BE AWARE.

There was no misunderstanding, your bar staff were being smart or trying to be. The order was very simple and their English was competent to understand, a pint of Efes and a vodka and Diet Coke please. Can’t think of any couples at the start of the night would order a pint and 2 vodkas in 2 separate vodka glasses. In my opinion you need to talk to your bar staff, I think as the owner you will be well aware of their practices. You look like you have an excellent establishment just a pity your staff need to...

Best English Breakfast!! Polite friendly staff, great atmosphere Billy's Cosy Corner has it all.

My partner and I heard good things before arriving in Marmaris and we were not disappointed.

The breakfast is unrivalled in Marmaris, it is truly excellent. A choice between Full English and Full Scottish and the option to double it up.

The staff are so attentive and friendly no hassle they know what they have to offer.

Special mentions Billy, Eddy, Adam & Jimmy for not only making mine and my partners stay so enjoyable but our friends we met over there too.

Breakfast was a daily routine however for our last night 8 of us joined Billy for our final meal which was out of this world. I had the Tomahawk steak and my partner going for mussels and spaghetti carbonara. My steak was the best I’ve every had so juicy I went into a food comer not long after 😂 the mussels so fresh out of their shells so you know your getting more 😉

If you are going to Marmaris, make sure you pay Billy a visit! You have not experienced Marmaris until you have visited!

Best steaks in marmaris. Went there during during my stay on the first day, tried other places on the second day, and then ate there each of the remaining days of my stay. Would totally recommend this place. Very delicious and juicy steaks with amazing sauces. I especially liked the garlic steak. Additionally, their cocktails are amazing. I used to rarely drink alcohol due to the taste, but during my visits to Billy's cozy corner I drank multiple cocktails in a single night(new personal best). Last but not least, the service is just amazing. The staff and owner are really friendly and actually care about their customer's comfort. They even put in lots of additional effort to replace one of their TVs in order for us to be able to watch live...
