Stella Beach Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Marmaris

My partner and I are at Stella now, the setting is beautiful, we are on the jetty, the food was lovely and the red wine is actually ok. However, we ordered starters and mains, with the starters you also get the balloon bread with dips, whilst half way through our starters the mains came out, my partner ordered garlic steak, the sauce was definitely not garlic, I ordered grilled salmon with mash and spinach, I received grilled salmon but with chips and broccoli, I said is not my order and mash was delivered to me after about 7 minutes, spinach never arrived. My partner spoke to the manager and said we wasn’t happy that our mains were being given to us when we were still eating our starters and his response was that most people want their food quick, we wanted a relaxed meal, my partner then explained that our food orders were wrong and he continued to argue with my partner. Later on the manager came to our table and started to raise his voice at us, extremely unprofessional and I told him so, he blamed us saying we were nearly done with our starters so that’s why the mains were bought out, I explained that my meal was wrong and he said I was given mash after, yes I was but no sight of the spinach. A really disappointing experience as we’ve been looking forward to coming here all week. We told the owner we would leave a bad review and he couldn’t care less, terrible customer service and an embarrassing experience having the manager raise his voice at us in front of other diners. Finally he said he’d give us a whole 100 lira off of the bill for no spinach, this is about £2! Shocking customer service.

Too add to this we have just left Stella and the manager laughed at us saying that we were trying to get money off, saying we had no money, soooo rude and u professional, I’ve never received such shocking service. If you’re in Marmaris go to Felix, the place is lovely and I wish...

Never been to such a bad restaurant in my whole life. Me and my partner were looking for somewhere different to eat in Marmaris and came across Stella. On first impressions it looked great, and managed to get seating on the pier, and to be fair was very scenic. But the customer service let it down massively.

We ordered our food and a bottle of rose at 21:30, and then they came back 30 minutes later to ask what we had ordered and which of their pasta dishes they served had chicken in it! We decided to let it slide as it didn't seem like the waiter understood English very well, which is understandable seeing as he was Turkish.

However, we waited another 30 minutes for our food to come, which then did eventually an hour later but got served to a different couple. It just seemed like the staff didn't have a clue what to do, including the manager who was taking food and drink orders to the wrong tables!

I then eventually had enough of waiting for over an hour for our food which had just been sat on a different table going cold. So went up to the manager and said we will pay for the bottle of rose but not the food. He then begged us to stay and said "our food won't be long" but Thad enough and was not spending my money on that place.

On coming to pay for the bottle, they charged us 1200 lira (£28) for a bottle of rose that cost us £10 in the following restaurant!

Overall, if you're going to Marmaris I would not even look at this place. I can't say much on the food as didn't even get the chance to eat it but the customer service needs massive improvement. Stick to the well established restaurants in the area and even a Mcdonalds's if you want...
