Avoid avoid avoid, we went to this restaurant twice. There are two different ones, when we went to the first one my partner ordered a steak wrap, which he quickly changed to a Mexican wrap instead. They then brought out a steak wrap and acted like my partner had just changed the sauce, eventhough we both spoke to the person a few times and he confirmed with us twice. The starter was nice me and my partner shared this crispy basket, but then my pizza came out covered in flour and burned. We sent back the steak wrap and got it exchanged for a Mexican wrap, but they tried to charge us for it on the bill. We tried to explain this to them, and they last all sense of professionalism and began arguing back. My partner doesn't like confrontation, neither do I but it had to be handled I requested to speak to a manager who to his credit gave us 20% discount, corrected the bill and gave us a free lemon cheesecake and 2 lemon liquers. After the experience I didn't want to go back, but my partner loved the atmosphere the lightening and beautiful infrastructure inside. Eventually I started wanting those chicken wings again, so the day before we were due to come home we thought we would give it one last chance. The same manager was in the other restaurant, and he seemed very cold and distant. We were given our seats and waited 30 minutes to be served, people where coming in and being served before us. Eventually a girl walks up to us, and gives us menus. I ordered my chicken basket only, I didn't want to risk not liking more food and my partner the steak which he said was quite nice. Mine was not, and we paid extra to get it doubled it was supposed to be 260 lira for a normal, we paid 520 for a double and it was the same as standard and most of the little chicken pieces were burnt. I just decided to eat what I could, choosing not to put up a fuss and tried to enjoy my partners birthday with him. He was happy and loved his steak so so was I, I stuck to my homemade Lemonade which was good and we paid the bill which was around 1300 turkish lira and left quietly. I was starving after this, and tbh so was he portions being very small. So we went to maccies there and he had a milkshake me...
Read moreVery disappointing â never again!
We had a reservation at this beach club and were looking forward to a relaxing day, but we were treated extremely unprofessionally and disrespectfully.
When we arrived, nobody told us that you are allowed to use only one area. There was a dining area in the water where we wanted to have lunch. We waited until a table was free, sat down and ate. Just as we were about to order more, we were suddenly told to leave immediately because a group of four had arrived and we supposedly couldnât use both areas. We even offered not to use the beach area and just stay there, but that was not accepted.
One staff member was visibly upset (we saw him shouting at his colleague) and didnât even have the courage to speak to us himself â he just sent his colleague to deal with it. It was a very unpleasant, almost aggressive situation.
The worst part: Other guests were allowed to use both areas without any problem and sat there for hours â it was very obvious that these guests were not Turkish. It felt like they were making distinctions based on appearance or origin, which is simply discriminatory. Many of our friends will be visiting Marmaris soon, and we will make sure to share our experience at this place. There are really better places to go.
We were so uncomfortable that we immediately left the place and decided not to stay any longer.
Conclusion: Poor communication, disrespectful staff and a very unpleasant atmosphere. Absolutely not...
Read moreHands down, this is the best beach bar/restaurant in Marmaris! The vibe, the decor, the music and the service is 5 star. The food is absolutely outstanding of course! Ecem and Meryem were so friendly and helpful and they even helped us learn some turkish lingo. They were honestly so warm and welcoming! Lovely staff
On our first visit me and my brother both opted for a steak dinner each. I went for a medium rare steak with a mushroom and BĂŠarnaise sauce, with fresh vegetables and thin sliced potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly. My brother also chose a medium rare steak with a mushroom sauce and jacket potatoe and vegtables.
Both meals were exceptional and just made us come back for more!
On our second visit, we swapped dishes and he enjoyed the others choice. The chef needs credit for this food, well done Ugur, you really know how to serve up great food :D
Lastly, we skipped breakfast at the hotel and came again for more food and drinks.
I had a chicken schnitzel with vegetables chips and a mexican sauce. The schnitzel was moist on the inside and super crispy and the mexican sauce really hit my taste buds nicely! My brother opted for a chicken baguette and really enjoyed it too.
We're still here at the time of writing this, so we're getting a filter coffee each and just chilling out and enjoying the atmosphere! Expresso martinis are really good too by the way.
Thanks to everyone at felix beach!
