Elmacıoğlu İskender — Restaurant in Melikgazi

İş seyahatim için şimdi de Kayseri’deyim.

Yerel arkadaşımın tavsiyesi ile geldiğim bu mekan hakkındaki görüşlerimi sunayım.

“En iyi mekandır” tavsiyesinden çekinerek geldiğim bu restorandan, haklı olduğumu tecrübe ederek çıkmak keyifsiz oldu.

Hizmet: Garsonlarınız masadaki boşları toplarken, servis arabasına atıyor ve cam ürünlerini birbirine vuruyor gibi toplamazsa sizce de daha iyi bir müşteri deneyimi olmaz mı? Yanımdaki misafirimi duyamadım kulak çıkmamasından. Lütfen özen!

Lezzet: İskender siparişimiz epey geç geldi. Kalabalıktan dolayı bunu anlayabilirim. Ama lezzetini anlayamayacağım. “En iyi mekan” belirteci ile uyuşmuyorsunuz. Eti meşhur olmayan illerde iyisini yedim. Sizinki epey vasat. Ben ki tuz kullanmayan biriyim. Bana bile tuzsuz geldi. Tadı tuzu yok denecek bir lezzet.

Atmosfer: Birbirinden bağımsız malzemelerin duvarlarda ve tavanda kullanımına bir anlam veremedim. Çok para harcanmış. Sade, bağırmayan bir şıklık olması daha uygun olurdu. Duvardaki balıksırtı kaplamanın, tavandaki silindirlerle ve bitkilerle bağını anlayamadım. O bitkilerin toz barındırıyor. Alerjik ortama sebep vermemenizi önerirdim. Fazla alerjik, gereksiz malzeme kullanımı ve neticede harcanan fazla para… Bekleme alanı şık ve sade olmuş. Mimarlık firmanızın da tabelası oraya iliştirilmiş. Yemek alanına bu derece zaman, emek ve para harcayacağınıza ses izolasyonu için bir şey yapmış olmanızı dilerdim. Böylece 5 masa gerideki gürültüyü kendi masamdan duymamış olurdum.

Kapı karşılama: Size para kazandıran kişi müşteridir. Kapı karşılama, markanın yüzüdür. Marka yüzlerinizin yüzlerinin daha güleç ve samimi olması dileğimle …

Visited during my business trip to Kayseri, based on a local friend’s recommendation. The restaurant has potential, but a few improvements could make the experience truly great.

Service: The staff is active and attentive, but clearing tables can get noisy. A softer approach would make conversations more comfortable.

Taste: İskender was served a bit late due to the crowd, which is understandable. The flavor could be richer — a touch more seasoning might bring it to the next level.

Atmosphere: Stylish in parts, especially the waiting area, but some design elements feel a bit mismatched. Adding some sound insulation could make the dining area more pleasant.

Reception: A slightly warmer and more welcoming greeting at the door would be a lovely touch.

Overall, I couldn’t enjoy the visit but believe that with small adjustments, this could easily become one of the city’s...

Bad..bad...bad... The amount what you pay and the food & service what you get is ridiculous. The Adana has nothing to do with Adana..totally tasteless, a big ZERO..the iskender kebab, what they said they are famous for, a big ZERO. The Comertme Kebabi, I would say its still ok and the taste is ok, but way too expensive..The Kayseri Tavasi, which costs TL 68, is just some vegetables with some meat. The Manti was still ok, but price wise ridicilous... The service was extremely bad, brining wrong food, not brining bread, brining food not at the same time, but 1 at the time.. so look for something else in Kayseri instead of this restaurant and save your money spending on this...

Très mauvaise expérience. Dès notre arrivée, personne ne nous accueille, on est laissés seuls. Le personnel donne l’impression de se moquer complètement des clients. On nous presse pour commander, puis on attend 45 minutes pour être servis. Le service est désorganisé et peu aimable. Les plats sont décevants : le poulet était sec, sans goût, ressemblait à du plastique. La soupe contenait des choses bizarres, on ne savait même pas ce que c’était. Pour essayer de rattraper le repas, je commande une salade… une mouche en sort ! On me la remplace, mais la nouvelle salade arrive encore pleine de terre. C’est franchement inacceptable pour un restaurant. À fuir.

Very bad experience. From the moment we arrived, no one welcomed us we were left alone. The staff seemed to completely disregard the customers, as if they didn’t care at all. We were rushed to order, then had to wait 45 minutes for the food. The service was disorganized and not friendly. The dishes were disappointing: the chicken was dry, tasteless, and felt like plastic. The soup had strange things in it we didn’t even know what we were eating. I tried to save the meal by ordering a salad… but a fly came out of it! They replaced it, but the new salad still had dirt on the leaves. Honestly unacceptable for a restaurant. Avoid at all costs.

Gerçekten çok kötü bir deneyimdi. Restorana girdiğimizde kimse bizi karşılamadı, kendi halimize bırakıldık. Personel müşterilerle ilgilenmiyor, umursamıyor gibiydi. Siparişi vermemiz için acele ettirdiler ama yemekler gelene kadar 45 dakika bekledik. Servis düzensizdi ve çalışanlar ilgili değildi. Yemekler hayal kırıklığıydı: tavuk kuruydu, tatsızdı ve plastik gibiydi. Çorbanın içinde de garip şeyler vardı, ne yediğimizi anlayamadık. Yemeği biraz kurtarmak için salata söyledim… içinden sinek çıktı! Değiştirdiler ama yeni gelen salatanın üstünde yine toprak vardı. Bir restoran için gerçekten kabul edilemez. Kesinlikle...
