Title: Disappointing Decline: A Once Promising Restaurant in Bursa, Turkey
Located in the heart of Bursa, known for its rich tradition of Turkish coffee, this restaurant once stood as a beacon of culinary excellence. However, recent visits have left much to be desired, marking a noticeable decline in both quality and service.
Upon entering, one is greeted with a sense of nostalgia, reminiscent of the vibrant atmosphere that once filled the space. However, this feeling quickly dissipates as the reality of the situation sets in.
The first indication of trouble arises with the Turkish coffee, a beverage synonymous with the region. Once a hallmark of the restaurant's menu, it now arrives with a bitter taste, lacking the rich aroma and smooth texture that patrons have come to expect.
As one delves into the menu, it becomes apparent that prices have inexplicably soared, with little justification for the increase. Dishes that were once reasonably priced are now exorbitant, leaving diners questioning the value proposition.
To compound matters, the once attentive and friendly waitstaff have been replaced by individuals who exude an air of indifference and rudeness. Requests for assistance are met with sighs and eye rolls, further detracting from the dining experience.
In summary, it is with a heavy heart that I must acknowledge the decline of this once beloved restaurant. What was once a culinary gem in Bursa has now become a shadow of its former self, marred by subpar quality, inflated prices, and dismal service. As a longtime patron, I can only hope that management takes heed of these concerns and works towards restoring the establishment to its...
Read moreVery bad service. Totally ignored by the waitress. She was more interested in smoking and talking to her colleague than serving people. I tried to get her attention for 10 minutes even though it was not busy at all she didn’t see me. I asked another waiter and he told her off for ignoring customers I finally asked for tea, but when it didn’t arrive after 15 minutes even though other customers were getting their tea, I left. I talked to the manager but he didn’t seem to care either. It wasn’t only this, but the coffee which I got at the start was splashed all over the outside of the cup. And they served the breakfast without bread and I had to wait 10 minutes for them to bring it while the rest of the breakfast got cold. I’m so upset about this experience. The worst service and to be honest the food wasn’t anything special either. I wish that at such a nice location they could get some nice staff and...
Read moreFood is standard, good. Prices are OK. Service is as fast as a snail. It is next to a beautiful river with a waterfall, beautiful view. But I couldn't even ask for salt. We came, no one asked where we want to sit so we find ourselves a table, waited for more than 5 minutes and I take menu from other tables. We ordered our food and waited more than 20 minutes for the food to come (fastest foods came latest, I did not understand that part). Waitress came give plates and run away. Place was not even half full but service was too slow. I wonder how long we would wait in a busy hour. I am not planning to go there again. Note: No wheelchair accessibility. Need to go down...
