Excellent food, served quickly, in mostly outdoor environment. Nice to sit under cool trees just a stone's throw from town. I ordered Turkish mixed meze (vegetarian) at 20k ugx which was the equivalent of a big starter in terms of portion size. A bigger plate is 30k. It's packed full of flavours: plenty of olive oil, lemon, parsley, garlic and roasted vegetables. Main dishes include lamb kebabs, spiced beef skewers, grilled Nile perch, big salads, all cooked to order. Turkish buffet breakfast on Sundays is popular at 50k shillings. It's served from 10 am to 1 pm. Complimentary Turkish tea is served after the meal. International food includes pizzas (Turkish style), chicken and chips etc. Ugandan food includes goat stew. Beers cost 7k. This popular restaurant is open 7 days a week. It was lovely to spend a few minutes chatting to the owner Odessa who is a hospitality and catering expert. (When she has a moment, she may even offer to "read' your coffee grounds for you!) It's lovely to be back in Centenary Park after so long.

Go to place for comfort authentic Turkish food! The dips are the best in town - especially the ezme and eggplant salad! The bread that comes with the dips is also phenomenal! Best part is you can choose these for you Mzee platter small or big and try them in a smaller portion instead of a full portion. The cigara borek was 10/10 & the pide we always get it half cheese half zataar and it never ever disappoints. Not photographed - the adana chicken kebabs are too good - I find it rare to get chicken kebabs, most places have lamb but not chicken so this is a big win for those that avoid red meat.
