Reporter Restaurant & Coffee — Restaurant in Dnipro Urban Hromada

Good place for a breakfast, especially since many other places in Dnipro are open from 11 a.m. there's an interesting variety of breakfast classics, but I was personally confused with my order of Benedict eggs which came without bread and hollandaise sauce. After my claim, a waitress (pretty nice and helpful, I must say) suggested I can order them as an extra. Hearing my surprise about poached eggs being called Benedict and not accompanied by essentials an administrator came and, in a polite but somewhat mentoring tone explained that "we are a restaurant with author's cousine and this is a vision of our chef, some Benedict eggs in our menu goes with sauce but the one you ordered with broccoli on side comes without it, next time you should better ask if our chef uses an ingredient you expect". My note that egg Benedict is egg Benedict all around the world and they are certain reasonable expectations when you order something well-known and classical was met with the same quite strict reply without any sign of apologises saying that "we are not a chain resto and we do not have to do it as others do it". Well, my "extra" souce came in one minute and I was not charged for it (for 2 pieces of bread I was, though) and overall this was an OK breakfast. But I would suggest to upgrade hospitality tone of the administration and call things in menu by what they really are: poached egg with boiled broccoli isn't getting any better or worse by labeling...

Mixed fillings about this one. One can tell that they train their personal on service but maybe we got very unlucky with our server.

Food was good, not excellent but good. However when we noted to the server that the coffee was below mediocre quality he started to argue that we don't know much about coffee and that they have "the best" coffee in town. We weren't offered anything in exchange or something better. Server wasn't very quick on serving the coffee either. Situation was awkward and we didn't want to argue. After all - not such a big deal. But for "the best and one of the oldest" places in town...

When we were asked if everything was all right at the exit, we described our experience and they did absolutely nothing. No apologies. Nothing.

So, the food is ok. The server (the one we had) was snobbish. And no - we will not come back to this restaurant.

P.S. Thank you for a quick response. It happened back in September. Balcony level. Inside. Table was closer to the elevator on the right side. The waiter looked like experienced employee and that what surprised me the most. Our company was dressed casually but i don't think it should affect quality of the service...

Ресторан, который считается (или уже считался) одним из лучших в Днепре-это уже просто позорище и жалкий,дешевый и наигранный цирк и пафос. По итогом: 1.Еда хорошего качества, свежие ингредиенты, кое-где хромает подача, как для ресторана такого уровня, но есть можно и вкусно, хотя за тот ценовой диапазон в котором они себя позиционируют, можно было бы гораздо лучше постараться и улучшить качество и подачу блюд. 2.Интерьер интересный, но уже очень древний. Видно в него давно не вкладывают от жадности и ничего нового не привносят.

3.Самое "интересное" это обслуживание: Официанты ходят с надменным видом, появляются, когда хочется им, а не нужно гостю, "вяло" реагируют на абсолютно всех гостей в зале. И тут картина маслом: на встрече с моими иностранными бизнес партнёрами пришлось краснеть и извиняться за просто бестолковую и нетактичную администратора, которая пыталась именно "втюхать" дорогие по её недалёкому мнению лучшие вина. Хотя я ей дважды сказала, что мы хотим именно местные. После чего данная особа при мне же, после моего отказа позволила себе продолжать "втюхивать" и "пиарить" нужные ей вина. Конечно же мы сделали по своему! Хотелось поставить её на место, но было очень стыдно за такую "репортёрскую актрису" перед иностранными гостями. Более того, по залу ходит с важным видом какой-то "а-ля Дядя Ваня", который явно из менеджмента,но с абсолютным отсутствием манер и умения общаться с гостями, до этого был светловолосый молодой мужчина такой же весь на "дешёвых понтах".

Похоже персонал подбирается по принципу: чем более ты дерзкий и хамоватый по жизни, тем лучше! И это уже не в первый раз я вижу такое негативное отношение к гостям. Были на третьем этаже где у них якобы "элитный ресторан", а по факту "ресторан" с базарным отношение к себе и гостям. Хорошее обслуживание и атмосфера- Вам...
