I initially left a truthful review based on my recent experience, highlighting some genuine concerns that any responsible business would normally use as an opportunity for improvement.
Instead of addressing the issues professionally, I was met with a threatening response, accusing me of “defamation” simply for expressing my opinion. It's unfortunate that rather than acknowledging areas where they could improve, the management chose to intimidate a customer with baseless legal threats.
Claiming I should have checked their Eid social media post (lol) before visiting especially when I was at the venue a day before Eid, is not only unreasonable, it's laughable.
Let’s be clear: constructive criticism is not defamation. A business that can't tell the difference might want to reconsider how they engage with their customers. Threatening people for being honest says far more about your attitude than any review ever could.
My review serves as evidence that I should report you to the appropriate authorities for the threats you issued in response to an honest and non-defamatory review. Your actions have ensured that I will never return to your establishment.
Although I have taken down my previous comments, this matter remains unresolved and will support any legal challenge I choose to pursue. I am prepared to take this further if necessary. The reason I removed my review was not because I was intimidated by your threat (absolutely not). I chose to delete my comment because your café clearly doesn’t value genuine reviews.
I’ve noticed a pattern in your responses using threatening language to pressure people into removing genuine reviews. This appears to be how you’ve maintained an artificially positive online presence. What’s more concerning is your misuse of the UAE Cybercrime Law to intimidate reviewers, a tactic that could easily be substantiated against you. Threatening individuals on social media is, in fact, a serious cybercrime in itself.
But not everyone will be swayed by such tactics. My review remains publicly visible, and I stand by it for others to see.
I am fully aware, as you are, that the UAE has strict laws and I totally respect that. The threats you made publicly are considered offensive and will be addressed accordingly.
Let's play. I am ready, if you are...
Read moreVery nice restaurant, went on a Sunday early afternoon and it was mostly empty, I’m sure it gets busy in the evenings on Friday/Saturday particularly. Big place!
They had an open buffet and shisha offer for 99 dirhams which was very fair. The food was nice, a god mix of Lebanese, Egyptian, Jordanian foods none of it was labeled which wasn’t a problem for me but maybe for others I they’d want to know. It was tasty and fresh. Limited and basic desert options but the rice pudding was really good. Would be nice if the soup choices were a little more varied from each other.
Shisha was good too, nicely prepared and quality flavor and charcoal used.
Parking outside was very easy as it’s next to a mall. When I finished my car was washed, the guy said it’s from the restaurant and no need to pay, I gave him some dirhams anyway but thought that was a nice touch. I’m not sure if that’s common or only because it was a quiet Sunday afternoon.
The highlight of the visit was probably the level of customer service. Absolutely top notch, everyone was super polite and very welcoming. Attentive but not intrusive, anything you needed or wanted they seemed to magically appear to ask you what you would like before you even start looking for someone to ask.
100% will go back next time I’m in Abu Dhabi, I think they have live music during the busier periods too which would be fun.
Great for a quick bite and a coffee alone or go for an entire evening with a big group, this place is suitable for...
Read moreI regret not knowing about them until today! Such a pleasant experience. We went there for Iftar. I came across their Iftar competitive offer by chance in Instagram. I must say they excel in giving the customer the best ambience and experience. Presentation of the food: Excellent Food Taste: Excellent Food options: 14 main course options! That's unbelievable! None of them are options you will say "Meh" about. Tables spacing from each other: Excellent Professionalism and friendly attitude of the crew: More than Excellent!
A few other positive aspects I noticed during our visit: • Car wash service for customers during the dine in • Ventilation is great! We don't smoke Shisha but you barely can smell it because of the ventilators. • Table attendants are very focused on your needs before you ask. The hygiene standards is followed rigorously. • They have post Iftar music & songs live performance. Oud and Guitar merge together with 2 great vocalists to let you indulge into oriental & nostalgic time of great songs with outstanding performance!
Moreover I informed them ahead about an occasions that I would like a "tiny" celebration for. However I was amazed of the great experience and atmosphere they've created. Thanks a lot to every team member, ladies and gentlemen. A special thanks goes to Mr. Abdul Salam for his...
