Il Forno, Airport Road Al Mushrif — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Had a lovely dining experience at Il Forno, Abu Dhabi Mall recently. True to their tagline, Il Forno was close to ‘The Taste of Italian Food’.

The service and staff is impeccable, the team including Mr Youssef who took care of not just us, but I noticed every customer who walked in there equally well.

What we tried is below Zuppa Di Funghi (Creamy Mushroom Soup) which was a winner and super delicious. Arancini Ai Formaggi & Mozzarella Carozza; both of which were nice. The former pretty heavy as it had 3 kinds of cheese and rice stuffed in. The mains were super yummy as well and we had the Pollo Pizza and Lasagna di Pollo. The pizza was fresh, soft and loaded with toppings but the baked pasta was really the highlight for me here and it was sooo damn good and cheesy. The creamy bechamel sauce with mushrooms, chicken and cheese is a star👌🏻

From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and made sure we felt welcome and taken care of throughout the entire meal. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave great recommendations.

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible! Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can really taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. From appetizers to dessert, everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced and memorable.

First visit here & loved everything about it. I was looking for a place outside of a mall for a quick dinner in an easy to reach place. Special thanks to Mr Shadi, he was very kind and srved all dishes himself. Then greeted us off with a complimentary ice cream..Just made everything better Pros: kind & attentive staff food is delicious location ideal, not within a mall, plenty of parking, conveniently on main road

Cons: place inside is not big, not a problem now in good weather as it s perfect to sit outside. During summer place will not fit many customers
