As a Korean person who has had some of the best Korean food in the world at home and in NY, LA, and Seoul, you will like this place because there are no other decent places for Korean food that I have found yet that are consistently good. This place is Korean owned and curated, meaning certain dishes that move are fine. Other things that don't are not. The Korean owners are not making the food. It is non Koreans making Korean food for Koreans -that's hard and they have my respect. There is a Japanese menu and it is okay too, making it my go to place for Japanese. The fallback position for food is fusion out of necessity in Abu Dhabi and it is easy to overpay for mediocre food in a five star setting. At Mannaland they shoot for the moon with a significant Korean clientele. Topping the list of my favorites are in no particular order the Haemul Jeongol -the seafood stew which is a seafood stew that is an umami bomb of flavor -whole crabs bathe is the lush soup with squid, clams and fish. The kalbi (Korean barbecue) is good. The Jjajjamyeon and tangsuyuk -old Korean-Chinese standby's are delicious. The banchan (side dishes) are okay, although the kimchi comes out room temp which makes it less pleasant)....

Manaland holds a special place in my heart as my go-to destination for authentic Korean cuisine. Since my first visit back in 2016, this gem of a restaurant has consistently exceeded my expectations, never failing to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

I fondly recall even visiting during Ramadan, a testament to the enduring allure of this establishment. The authenticity of the cuisine is truly unparalleled, and I find myself relishing every dish that graces our table.
