I recently had the pleasure of dining at UDN Restaurant and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. The restaurant had a beautiful ambiance, with tasteful decor and a cozy atmosphere.

•For the udon lovers here is one of the best spots in town. UDN offers good food with good quality and flavors. Good service with Seema being very kind to us and, despite the empty place, the service was fast as well, so nice.

•The location is not so good, beside Mercedes-Benz in Al-Rawdah, far from everything (in my perspective) and in a “hide” place. But Seema told us that the restaurant will move near downtown, what is good because is more in a strategic area. There are few spots for parking in front of the restaurant, but is paid.

•To start we ordered Sweet Corn Tempura (27,62aed), crunchy and soft at the same time, nice light option at the beginning, worth the bites. But the highlight is the udon, of course, and we asked for the Traditional Wakame UDN Chicken (59,05aed) and the UDN Katsu Chicken (64,76aed), both delicious, flavorful and well served, lot of food. •When I think to eat udon, UDN is always on my mind, trust me. They’ve the delivery, what is good for the lazy days, and it’s a good service with that option as well.

Food The Chicken and Duck Gyoza were pretty good. The duck had a nice flavor, the sauce for it was not great. The Traditional Beef Udon was just ok. The flavor of the broth was nothing to write home about. The ingredients were so-so. The noodles of course were really good though, great texture, felt fresh. The Traditional Chicken Udon had great crunchy chicken that lost all its crunch because it was in the broth... Made no sense. The Chicken Katsu had great chicken with great noodles and another underwhelming sauce. The UDN Curry Chicken had decent sauce so maybe that would be the better bet? We had milk cake for dessert and it was delicious.

Service We had Victor serving us. He was polite, but clearly pushy, no doubt encouraged by his management. He was really quick on the check and was there when we needed anything.

Vibe Its a really cool place. They spent some money to do it well.
